Standard rooms on ground floor (under the reception) are low ceiling. Power outlet is near the floor so one would need to stoop to get access to any of it. Parking just outside was convenient. Location is good. Breakfast is just ok.
Room had Excellent view, was quiet, hotel had a European feel, proprietor was present / nice, staff was nice & experience was good!
We had a lovely stay here. Brian was super nice and helped us with parking and even carried our cooler upstairs. We had a huge balcony which was quite nice. It is in a great location and once we parked we didn't move the car for several days and just walked everywhere we needed to go in town. There isn't an ice machine, but they do have ice if you ask for it. Breakfast was simple, but enough. The room had a mini fridge. We would absolutely stay here again and totally recommend!
The Hotel Durant is in the PERFECT location for Aspen. Everything is within walking distance. It is a good, basic hotel and has a super continental breakfast that starts at 8AM.
