The host went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. She was very friendly, communicative and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Everything was fully explained in detail in the email she sent after my booking. When we arrived the home was in pristine condition. It was fully stocked with anything you would need during your stay. I can’t say enough about this amazing home and would highly recommend it for a wonderful stay in the beautiful Blue Lake Springs area. We will definitely be back both summer and winter.

This is the perfect family gathering cabin; spacious, separate entertaining areas and well stocked with essentials plus a personal note and treat! They even decorated for Christmas! Appreciated the prompt response as we problem solved a power outage and was happy with all the emergency supplies available. Definitely adding this cabin as a favorite.

Beautiful home among the trees

This is a beautiful home, well-appointed with woodsy, cabin details and surrounded by natural beauty. It’s deep into the community development but the home has most of what you need. Good proximity to Bear Valley and Murphys. Most things in Arnold and in the community are closed during the winter months. The home has lots of hangout areas to suit all ages.

Great Vacation

The cabin is very comfortable and well layed out. Located in a quite area and worked great for all of our family including our grandkids. The foosball table in the garage was fun for all. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions and easy to work with before and duri g our stay.

Family Trip

This house is amazing and was the perfect set up for our family. The kitchen is well equiped with all necessities to make your stay comfortable, the game room in the garage was great and the added games, beach chairs, etc was a big plus. The outside deck and the upstairs loft room are perfect for hanging out. The owner references everything needed to know in a book for guests and is also very responsive to any question.

Roberts Retreat in Blue Lake Springs

This is our second year of renting Roberts Retreat, in the winter, and it won't be our last. This fantastic Blue Lake Springs is on a quiet cul de sac, 5 minutes from Arnold, 10 minutes to a grocery store and 1/2 hour from Bear Valley. Kelly is great, quick to respond to any inquiries! Thank you for the welcome card and bottle of wine. Check-in/checkout was a breeze. We will be back.

A beautiful home-away-from-home for family to come together!

We loved our time at this gorgeous cabin! The space was so beautifully designed and comfortable. Our family spent a lot of time cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and evenings on the deck were magical. And the kids loved the garage game room. It was our first time to Arnold and it was such an easy and enjoyable experience. The location can't be beat and Kelly was so communicative. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

easy and chill summer vibes!

the best weekend retreat in the mountains. full of sunshine, fresh air and s’mores our family had a blast in this fabulous property. it is wonderfully appointed with all the plastic plates & cups for kiddos, board games and the most comfy couches and TVs. Bunk beads were a hit and beds for adults were super comfy. plenary of porch/deck space and chill court for the kiddos to play out front or out back.

Lovely cabin near Calaveras Big Trees State Park

It was a pleasure staying in Kelly's lovely vacation home. Thank you for the well-equipped kitchen and super nice gas fireplace that we enjoyed even on the first nights of summer. The proximity to Calaveras Big Trees is a huge bonus--such a treasure!

Perfect family vacation home!

Our little family of three loved this house! The yard and house was perfect for our 2.5 year old son - safe, accessible, and entertaining. It was the perfect place to show him the snow for the first time. We can’t wait to come back in the summer! Kelly was a fantastic host too. We had to navigate scheduling complications and she was compassionate and flexible. We felt welcomed from the first interaction.

A beautiful mountain getaway!!

The property was very nice and at this time of year had snow. It had plenty of room for our family and friends, and was very cozy. We had a wonderful time playing in snow and enjoying the gorgeous view. Looking forward for going back and make more memories in the future.

Blue Lake Springs Treasure

The home was very clean and furnished with taste! We liked the size of the home and the master sweet (don't change). The Ping Pong table was a hit. We didn't use the foosball table. We suggest adding a pool table! We'll definitely be back. The cul de sac was very quiet! Kelly was extremely responsive to any inquiry!

Beautiful relaxing spot

We had an extended family weekend in this lovely spot. Like others noted the house is showing its age in places but this didn’t take away from the stay. Lots of comfy places to sit and chat. Great outdoor spaces for meals and so close to the beach! We would happily return.

Perfect Family Winter Getaway

Roberts Retreat was perfect for our annual family winter getaway. Great memories were made this trip. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home. It was very clean , spacious and comfortable for my family of 8 (6 adults and 2 teens) The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our family meals. Kelly was quick to respond to any questions and the welcome card and gift was such a nice touch. We have rented a few properties in the past, this home by far, is one of our favorites. We cannot wait to stay again! Thank you Roberts family for opening up your beautiful home.

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful and comfortable. It came with games for the kids. Everyone had a memorable time. Only thing was we didn't receive enough trash bags so we had difficulty ridding our garbage. Stores aren't very close by.
