Easy walking distance to everything

Had a problem when booking in, in afternoon. We had booked a family room but receptionist told us they are only for 4 people and since there was only my husband and myself we were given a standard room. Contacted Hotels.com through Messenger App and they had it sorted out by late evening. First room was a standard room 108, socket hanging off wall and night light cover missing. Our new room 106 was big, clean and had lots of windows and balconies (not to sit out on). Beware when having a shower as pressure very strong (which is good) but head can swing up to ceiling and flood bathroom. Lady doing breakfasts was excellent, very attentive. I had a coughing spell she came over with a glass of water. Nothing was too much bother for her. Breakfast consisted of bread, 2 meats, frittata, cheese, yoghurts, cereals, cakes, fruit, teas and coffee. Hotel in easy walking distance to everything. Plenty parking round about hotel. Hotel has small areas needing tended to, curtain hooks missing, sockets hanging off wall etc. Wouldn't take much to make it look smarter. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The rooms were clean but the decor was very faded, tired and shabby. There were burn marks on the walls by the light fittings which didn’t fill me with much confidence. The soundproofing was poor and the windows didn’t lock which on the ground floor wasn’t very good. I felt it was overpriced for what it offered and for the condition of the property.

Look elsewhere.

The hotel was dirty and smelly. Room decor was a hotchpotch of different colours. Air con control knob missing and curtains dropped of poles. No bulb in bed side light and used paper cloth lying on floor. Staff helpful enough but fighting a losing battle.

This hotel offeres excellent service, clean rooms, A/C ,Tv, fridge, quite rooms, close to the stores and situated close the center of the city. We had a very nice staying at this hotel and we definitely we will come back. Very Good price for an excellent hotel.

Is very quiet place, nice for resting, close to restaurants and nice parks. We go t the last rooms, the problem was for one person to walk a lot to get into the room, I don´t know why the staff doesn´t pay attenction to that situation

Travelling to Granada stayed overnight staff were helpful in finding a restaurant. Reasonable for a night and room was clean. Quiet area of town and parking was very easy. Safe area for walking around.

Decent hotel

Air conditioning didn't really work, but we had big windows which helped cool the place down after midnight. The showers worked well but didn't drain fast. Rooms were quite large. Beds were quite hard, but typical of Europe. Nice location in the middle of town with markets nearby.

Nice hotel in the pretty town of Aranjuez.

A little difficult to find but just ask for the Large Fountain Area (fuente de agua) and the hotel is near there. Pleasant staff with facilities for Bar, Cafeteria & Dining on site. This is a very nice hotel but just starting to show the signs of maintenance needed with the following points noted to the manager. Bath handrail hanging by a thread, the fire/emergency room lighting hanging on by one screw only, no soap lquid in the shower container and 4 bottles in the bathroom all with the same writing on but different colours for products. If these problems had been dealt with prior to my stay this hotel would have had a higher rating. Used the Bar, Cafeteria and Dining and all OK.

Excellent overnight stay

All we hoped for and needed re location, easy street parking immediately outside hotel, helpful concierge, safe central area and perfectly adequate continental (Spanish-style) breakfast. Room was an added bonus in that it was much larger than expected with two full length windows overlooking front of hotel (on fairly quiet side street). Good shower and bathroom very clean despite being older in style. Everything in room worked. Very good price for what we had and will use again en route from/too Santander. Aranjuez a very pleasant place to visit and the royal palace very well worth a few hours - we were very pleasantly surprised/impressed by it and our excellent english-speaking guide.

Good Location Near Palace

We stayed here on night to visit the Palace at Aranjuez and then to get to the Madrid Barajas airport to fly out the following morning. It was easy to find free parking on the street and the neighborhood was quite safe since the police station was across the street. The breakfast buffet was good and had a nice variety of Spanish items, including tortilla espanola and fresh fruit. We had a teenager so a cot was brought in that was quite small, but it worked out OK.

A reasonable stopover at a budget price

Took too long to access wifi and the room needed a good dusting. The road was a bit noisy so it was difficult to sleep.
