We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Lena. The apartment is very bright and homely and the kitchen is very well equipped. The view is magnificent. Sitting out on the balcony looking at the view and listening to the bird song was a joy! It is so relaxing there..

Relax and take in the view

The village of Apricale is so old and beautiful we didn't want to leave. Everyone is so friendly and happy to chat. The apartment is spacious and well the terrace!! We spent a week just enjoying the hot weather, local wines and views. The swallows are so entertaining. We recommend this house for a relaxing break

You can hear the angels and the frogs singing...

This was our second stay in Lena's beautiful apartment, and like the first time we enjoyed every moment. Apricale is a unique and picturesque village with very breathtaking surroundings including lots of lovely hiking trails.The apartment is clean, bright and inviting. From the large terrace overlooking Perinaldo on the neighboring hilltop, it is an incredible experience to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening to the accompaniment of the croaking of frogs. The communication with Lena was perfect and we also benefited from a good contact with her local and helpful assistant Pia. We will definitely choose this lovely spot again the next time our path will pass by Apricale!

Wir haben uns in Apricale und in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage mit einer Terrasse, die einen schönen Ausblick über das Tal ermöglicht. Was für uns wichtig war: die Matratzen waren wirklich gut - im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Unterkünften, die wir in der Vergangenheit hatten. Kühlschrank, Gefrierfach, Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine sind vorhanden. Es gibt in der Wohnung kein Internet - was für uns sehr positiv war. Die Kinder hingen nicht am Handy. Der kleine Laden direkt vor der Tür ist Gold wert. Was wir ebenfalls erstaunlich und großartig fanden, war die Ruhe (insbesondere nachts) in einem so dicht besiedelten Dorf. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Erholung pur in wunderschöner Umgebung

Wir genossen die zwei Wochen in dem verwinkelten Dorf mit spannender Geschichte und viel Natur drum herum. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und familienfreundlich eingerichtet. Es gibt alles, was kochwütige Urlauberherzen höher schlagen lässt. Vor Ort gibt es lokale Restaurants und Bars für unterschiedliche Geschmäcker, in Graziellas kleinem Laden bekommt man alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Von Apricale aus sind malerische Bergdörfer, Flussbadestellen und das Meer mit dem Auto auf engen, abenteuerlichen Strässchen erreichbar. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und kommen gerne wieder. Die Wohnung hat eine große Terasse, von der aus die Flugkünste von Mauersegler und Schwalben bewundert werden können, sowie viel Platz da ist, um zu Essen, zu Spielen, Sonnen und Sternenhimmel zu betrachten.

Fijn appartement op een magische plek

Verblijf was erg fijn. Mooie locatie waar je echt terug gaat in de tijd. Enige wat er in de advertentie bij mag komen is dat je ongeveer 400 meter moet lopen vanaf parkeerplek naar je appartement. De gastvrouw is super vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam.

Traumhaft

Die Wohnung und der ganze Ort sind ein Traum. Apricale ist ein wunderschönes historisches italienisches Bergdorf mit viel Bruchsteinmauerwerk, engen Gassen, Treppen, tunnelartigen Durchgängen, einem Dorfplatz mit 2 Kirchen, alles zwangläufig autofrei und das Ganze eingebettet in eine grüne Berglandschaft, von der es nur 20 min bis zur ligurischen Mittelmehrküste sind. Barrierefrei ist hier natürlich nichts. Von der großen Terrasse, die sozusagen den Mittelpunkt der Wohnung bildet, bietet sich ein herrlicher Blick über die umliegenden Berge und die benachbarten Dörfer. Die Wohnung selbst besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern mit je einem Doppelbett (eines davon Durchgangszimmer zum kleinen, oberhalb der Gasse liegenden Bad), Wohnzimmer und Küche - alles für ein solches Haus doch recht geräumig.. Die hinteren Räume besitzen Gewölbedecken, der vordere Teil ein Flachdach über hohen Decken. Die Küche ist recht gut ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem und es gibt auch deutsches SAT-Fernsehen (was wir aber so gut wie nicht genutzt haben). Im Dorf gibt es einen kleinen, aber gut sortierten Laden, in dem man das meiste für den täglichen Bedarf bekommt, ansonsten gibt in im ca. 15 min entfernten Camporosso mehrere große Supermärkte. Außerdem gibt es im Dorf mehrere Restaurants. Da der Ort autofrei ist, gibt es nur Parkplätze außerhalb. Ein Parkdeck am östlichen Dorfrand bietet normalerweise ausreichend Platz, von dort sind es bis zur Wohnung rund 300 m zu Fuß (über grobes Kopfsteinpflaster und bergauf, aber Rolli lässt sich ziehen; Treppen gibt es auf dem direkten Weg keine). Es gibt auch oberhalb noch einen kleineren, etwas näheren, dafür aber mit dem Auto schwieriger zu erreichenden Parkplatz (den wir nicht genutzt haben). Zu beachten ist, dass m August abends etwa zwischen 21 und 24 h über mehrere Tage ein Freilichttheater im Dorf gastiert, was dazu führt, dass die Parkplätze ab ca. 18:30 h voll werden. An diesen Tagen sollte man zusehen, dass man abends rechtzeitig wieder zurück ist. Über die Gegend braucht man nicht viel sagen: Ventimiglia, der Küsten- und Grenzort zu Frankreich, ist ca. 20 m entfernt (für den Strandbesuch haben wir meistens im Parkhaus am neuen Yachthafen geparkt, da es Richtung Bodighera meistens recht voll war). Das französische Menton, Monaco, Nizza und San Remo sind gut zu erreichen. Freitags sollte man Ventimigla aber nach Möglichkeit meiden, da an diesem Tag dort Markt ist und zahlreiche Franzosen für ein Verkehrschaos sorgen.

Nice appartment, beautiful view

Lena (and Pia who welcomed us) is a nice host. Everything went smooth. The flat is very nice, and well equipped. The view on the terrace is just beautiful (aperitif time with the lights of Perinaldo, opposite, between mountain and sky, was magic). Apricale is a very charming village, and is quiet. Attention, the access to the apartment from the street is, although beautiful, quite steep.

Balsam für Körper und Seele

Abseits vom Trubel des Lebens kann man immer wieder an diesem außergewöhnlichem Ort Erholung finden , die Bergluft atmen, von der Panorama-Terrasse Schwalben und Naturereignisse beobachten, sowie die ligurischen Speisen in ausgewählten Restaurants genießen. Unbedingt frisches Obst und Gemüse kaufen und direkt von der "Azienda Agricola" Olivenöl und Zitronen. Ein unvergessliches Geschmackserlebnis. Sehr schöne Wohnung

Wir haben hier mit unseren 2 kleinen Kindern einen ganzen Monat verbracht und können nichts negatives gegen die Wohnung sagen. Die Besitzerin hat uns sogar noch zusätzliche Heizungen besorgt, da es im Februar nachts recht kalt wurde. Die Wohnung ist total sauber, was für uns das wichtigste ist. Genug Möglichkeiten um seine Sachen zu verstauen, saubere Handtücher und Bettwäsche sind vorhanden. Es sind nur wenige Gehminuten zum Piazza, wo man schön in der Sonne sitzen kann für einen Kaffee oder man nutzt dafür die eigene traumhafte Terrasse. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und werden sicher nochmal zurückkehren.

Wir fanden es auch sehr angenehm, einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen 30 Meter von unserer Haustür entfernt zum Einkaufen zu haben.

Einmalig schön

Apricale ist ein außergewöhnlich spannender Ort. Eine gute Autostunde vom Flughafen Nizza entfernt, erwartete uns ein wunderschönes Bergdorf. Festes Schuhwerk ist Voraussetzung, um vom Parkplatz über einen grobsteinigen, etwas steilen Weg zu der im Berg gelegenen Wohnung zu kommen(kleines Gepäck ist empfehlenswert). Dann kam die Überraschung: der Blick von der Terrasse am Hang(das findet man dort sehr selten!)mit weiter Aussicht, hat uns fasziniert. In der sehr privat eingerichteten Wohnung findet man wirklich alles und deshalb benötigt man wenig Gepäck. Ausreichend Handtücher,Bettwäsche und Decken darf man benutzen. Die Küche ist mit allen elektrischen Kleingeräten,Geschirr,Sonderzubehör, Geschirrspüler mit Tabs! und Waschmaschine mit Waschmittel! ausgestattet. Nach einem Ausflugstag kann man es sich richtig gemütlich machen und die erholsame Umgebung genießen. Die Eigentümerin ist Fotografin und Stylistin und hat mit liebevollen, einfachen Details diese Wohnung ausgestattet, unter Berücksichtigung der dortigen Lebensart. In 20 Autominuten ist man am Meer und entlang der traumhaften Küstenstraßen in Italien und Frankreich gibt es so viel zu entdecken, dass wir unbedingt wiederkommen müssen! Damit es noch mehr Spaß macht ist es von Vorteil, italienische und englische Sprachkenntnisse mitzubringen. Viola + Rainer aus Hamburg

Vi var meget begejstrede for denne helt utrolige lejlighed. Fra den store terrasse er der en ubeskrivelig udsigt - bl.a. til landsbyen Perinaldo på toppen af nabobjerget. At sidde på denne terrasse ved midnat, nyde et glas vin og lytte til frøernes sang - og derudover bare stilhed - wouw!!! Indendørs er lejligheden lys, rummelig, velholdt og udstyret med alt, vi havde brug for. Apricale er en unik og smukt beliggende by. Dertil kommer talrige muligheder for dejlige vandreture og udflugter til andre smukke landbyer indenfor kort afstand - så hvad mere kan man forlange? Alt omkring booking og modtagelse fungerede perfekt. Det er altid vemodigt at rejse fra et sted, man er kommet til at holde så meget af. Vi satser på at vende tilbage!
