If you are looking for a quiet peaceful retreat but not far from civilization, this is it. I had the most wonderful weekend here. The host communicated with me before during and after. I left feeling like i was leaving a visit to family. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

Great Stay

Really great place to stay especially if you are a fisherman. We were in town for a bass tournament. Very convenient to gas and Wildwood Park. It is also a very safe location which is another big plus for everyone but especially fishermen. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

Exactly what I needed!

I wanted a few days to just decompress, and this was everything I needed. Plenty of space, quiet, everything I could need was provided. The pond is lovely, the hosts are just so wonderful. I've found my spot to stay when in the area. Thank you Jan for your incredible hospitality!

Good Place, Good People

Great place to stay. Owners are very nice ,friendly, and helpful. There is a Publix and some places to eat a few minutes away. It has a place to park a boat if you plan on doing some fishing at Clark Hills Lake. There are 2 boat ramps within 15 minutes of the property.

My fishing partner and I had the most gracious hosts you could ever ask for in Jay and Jan! They had a great place to park the boat with convenient charging outlets. Very safe and secure environment with no worries. The accommodations were perfect for our stay. Very comfortable for our fishing trip. Jan and Jay were wonderful hosts! 5 stars!

Great Stay!

We loved our stay in this charming suburb of Augusta. The beds were very comfortable, which was important to us. Our host was very warm and helpful. It is very close to Augusta where the Master’s Golf tournament is held.

If you’re reading this, you’ve found a gold mine!

From the moment we pulled into the driveway, we were treated like family! This will be the first property that we look for the next time we find ourselves in the Clark’s Hill area. Mrs. Jan & Mr. Jay are the sweetest, most helpful hosts ever! Our son fishes competitively and we have travelled all over the South for fishing tournaments. I always try to look for a property that’s accessible with a boat & fairly close to the boat ramp. This property checked both boxes! Mr. Jay helped us get parked & position the boat for ease of exit in the mornings. No worries about traffic getting to the ramp either… we were literally 10 min from Wildwood Park where the tournament launched from. The actually accommodations were perfect & felt like home. This little place is way better than any hotel we’ve ever stayed in! We slept well every single night & it was SO quiet and peaceful. Although we weren’t able to, Mrs. Jan offered to build a fire in the fire pit so that we could make S’mores in the evenings. Next time, Mrs. Jan, I promise! If you are traveling for something other than fishing, you are still within a 15-20 min drive to Augusta. I had a personal tour of the Savannah River Rapids at the Augusta Canal and the Augusta museum downtown. I highly recommend visiting! The rich history in the city of Augusta is so interesting! Thank you Mr. Jay & Mrs. Jan for your hospitality! We will be back again! ❤️

Disc Golf HQ for IDGC Weekend

We were a group of four disc golfers in Appling to compete in a disc golf tournament just a 10 minute drive away from this fantastic VRBN at the International Disc Golf Center. The property was everything we hoped for and more. Very clean and well stocked for doing your own food prep & cooking. Very friendly host. This will be my go to spot next time I play disc golf at the IDGC!

Short but wonderful stay

We were only at the property for one night, but Jay and Jan made the experience memorable. We stayed to be close to the lake for a fishing trip for my dad's birthday. Jan was such a gracious host and had multiple things already prepared for us to make grilling easy when we arrived. The property was beautiful and spacious and I am sorry I did not get to explore more. It was just a nice relaxing evening around the fire pit. The deer came around even while we were sitting outside. Even though my two sons didn't come this time I am sure they would very much enjoy a visit to Ally's Acres in the future! -Tyler
