My grandfather’s house from the 1930s, w/the plane tree in front & orange trees in back, was renovated with love & respect following traditional Cretan architecture. Located in Kalyves, a seaside village just 20 min from the historic port city of Chania & 40 min from Rethymno, it is conveniently positioned as a starting point for excursions. It's only a 5-min drive from a blue flag awarded beach, with many nearby hiking-cycling trails to explore the surrounding countryside, villages, & outdoors.
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms and a dining area. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board. Housekeeping is available on request.
