Private Beachfront Home – Aore Island, Vanuatu
Come stay right on the water at Aore Island. This is our home, not a resort, and it’s all about slowing down and living simply by the ocean. You’ll wake up with the sea right in front of you, spend your days swimming, snorkelling, or just sitting on the deck watching the water. We often see dugongs and turtles out the front, especially in the mornings. The house is open, relaxed, and comfortable. it has everything you need a kitchen, space to unwind, and a ocean view. It is off-grid, so things run a little differently. Power is solar with a generator backup, and hot water and internet . We’re about 5km from town on Santo Island, accessed by a short boat ride. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring your food with you or organise it before you arrive. Boat transfers are easy and we’ll help you with that. If you feel like doing something, we can also organise local experiences like visiting the cocoa farm, weaving with the mamas, or exploring the island by boat. If you’re after polished and perfect, this won’t be for you. But if you want something real, peaceful, and right on the ocean, you’ll settle in quickly.
