Great stay on Andros

Well appointed house with spectacular sea views. Lots of outdoor patio and eating space. Short walk down to the beach. Restaurant below can be noisy until late if they are hosting a wedding or function. Sunsets are amazing. Stavros met us on arrival and was contactable and helpful throughout.

We stayed with a group of friends for 11 nights and had an amazing time on Andros. We loved the house with all the different levels and terraces from which you have an amazing view on the ocean. We had a windy week on Andros but there is always a terrace that works well for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The house is full of light but still very cozy. The beach is only a 5 minutes walk. The housekeeper did the Check-in with us which was very uncomplicated. In the middle of our stay, the sheets and towels were changed and the house was super clean in the beginning. We can highly recommend and would definitely book this house again when coming back to Andros.

Bad experience

Even though in a good position and with gorgeous views, the house was a huge let down for us. It is very old and it shows in every single detail. It looks somewhat abandoned and left to itself. Some things are broken, the others don't work properly, or at all. There were no sugar, oil, bin liners, washing pods, dishwasher tablets, shower gel or shampoo. Bathrooms and (especially) kitchen hygiene were rather poor. In the cabinets we found some dirty pots/pans/cups and all the cutlery that needed washing. The rest was okayish. In my opinion the price is too high for what you (don't) get and the house is definitely not worth the money.

Inselurlaub vom Feinsten

Die Lage könnte nicht besser sein: Zwischen Gavrio, dem Fährhafen, und Batsi, dem beliebtesten Badeort. Schöne Strände, an denen man auch bei starkem Nordwind wunderbar baden kann, und ein toller Ausblick über das Meer mit spektakulären Sonnenuntergängen, die man auf der großen Terrasse genießen kann. Vom Haus aus in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ist ein kleiner Strand, den man für einen kleinen Sprung ins Wasser gut nutzen kann. Für längere Strandaufenthalte ist ein Auto nötig, auch für die Erkundung der gesamten Insel, die einiges zu bieten hat. Das Haus ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet, da blieben keine Wünsche offen. Supermarkt und Bäcker sind in ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar, die Küche ist mit allen Notwendigkeiten bestückt. Das weitläufige Wohnzimmer und die moderne, zurückhaltende Einrichtung wirken entspannend. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die für ein griechisches Ferienhaus ausgesprochen gute Schalldämmung der Räume. Ein besonderer Pluspunkt war für uns die Surfschule am Kypri-Strand, die vom Haus aus in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar ist. Unsere Tochter könnte dort unabhängig von uns den Sport und das Meer genießen und war von den netten Leuten dort begeistert.

Peaceful retreat

The villa is a beautiful place to stay. We came with two families, (four adults and three kids) and easily fitted into the three bedrooms. Two of the three bedrooms are air-conditioned. The house is tastefully furnished and very well maintained. It was cleaned once during our two week stay and the bedding was changed at the same time. You have amazing views over the sea from the terrace and the two balconies. To get to the beach you just cross the road (be careful with smaller kids, they must be accompanied) and then follow a small path down to the bay that has crystal clear water and was ideal for snorkeling. Hiring a car is highly recommendable to explore the island and get to the more remote but beautiful beaches. Just make sure not to rent your car at Apollo Rental Cars in Gavrio which proved to be the only negative thing we experienced on the island. Mari, the owner of the villa, was always available when we had a question and gave us a lot of great tips on places, restaurants and activities. Our overall impression was that Andros has less tourism than the neighboring islands. We spent the last two weeks of July on Andros and didn't´find it too hot. On some days it was very windy but the beaches between Gavrio and Batsi are protected from the strong winds that are not unusual in the summer months. All in all we would highly recommend the place and the island if you are not looking for a party location but a peaceful retreat.

Magnifique maison sur les hauteurs de Kipri

Nous avons passé une semaine d'août dans cette maison. Elle est très bien distribué et idéalement localisé. Elle convient parfaitement pour 8 personnes. Elle dispose de 3 terrasses (une fraîche au nord et 2 à l'ouest pour profiter du magnifique coucher de soleil). Une petite plage est à 2 minutes à pied et la plage de Kipri à 2 minutes en voiture où nous avons pratiqué de la planche à voile. Le séjour a passé trop vite et nous avons hâte de revenir ici l'année prochaine !

Avons l habitude de decouvrir les cyclades . Andros restera un tres bon souvenir,le super confort de la maison de Mari et sa localisation y aura beaucoup participe . Avons apprecie son bon gout pour l agencement de cette belle propriété dans les oliviers et eucalyptus et recommandons cette adresse ++++.

Des vacances de rêve

Très belle propriété , très spacieuse et calme avec une vue magnifique. La villa est à 5 minutes à pied d'une petite crique sableuse et à 5 minutes en voiture d'une grande plage où l'on trouve des activités nautiques comme la plongée ou le ski nautique . La villa est très propre et bien équipée et ses quatre terrasses permettent soit de profiter du soleil soit de trouver un peu d'ombre ! Nous y avons passé un super séjour.

heavenly view, practically a private beach and a totally amazing holiday

the house was quiet, clean and very comfortable. three bedrooms allow for excellent privacy and sleep arrangements. the garden, sea view and short walk to the rocky beach below gave the whole villa the feel of a fairy tale. the villa was extremely quiet and cozy, but spacious.

Villa in posizione tranquilla, con vista superba e dotata di ogni comfort!

La casa è situata in una zona tranquilla e ideale per godersi il mare, sul lato dell'isola protetto dal meltemi e in prossimità di spiagge molto belle, con sabbia fine e scogli ai lati dove fare snorkelling. Ha all'esterno ampie verande e balconi, da cui ammirare il bellissimo panorama e rilassarsi in tranquillità. All'interno è proprio come appare e dotata di ogni comfort. Al nostro arrivo Mari e Philippos ci hanno fatto trovare bottiglie di acqua e del cibo locale; durante il soggiorno ci hanno fornito utili consigli dove cenare e hanno provveduto alla pulizia della casa e cambio della biancheria a metà soggiorno (durato 2 settimane). Una delle migliori sistemazioni che abbiamo mai trovato in Grecia, che pure frequentiamo da diversi decenni! Speriamo di ritornarci presto!

Une très plaisante villa agréable à vivre

La maison de Mari Goga offre tant en termes de contemplation que de confort les attraits d'une séjour idéal, sinon idyllique : meublée de manière à la fois sobre et très pratique, mais avec beaucoup de goût, elle offre trois terrasses où alterner les moments de la journée et les usages (jeux, repas, apéros). Mari est sérieuse et souple pour faciliter l'organisation ; Andros est une île parfaite pour la randonnée et le beach raquette. On mange de délicieuses daurades grillées à Batsi. Merci

Ideal house for a family!

Spacious house,clean and well maintained; ideal for families or group of friends, with terraces offering great views, peaceful place on one hand while only 1min driving distance (10mins walking) from two great beaches with crystal waters, one in fact giving surfing lessons for sports lovers. Merveilleux séjour à Mari Goga's Villa!

Nous séjournons chaque année durant deux à trois semaines dans une île grecque. Nous avons vécu de beaux séjours mais celui-ci restera inoubliable. Ce lieu est enchanteur. La maison est belle, surplombe la mer, dispose de deux terrasses et d'un balcon pour admirer chaque soir le soleil couchant. A toute heure de la journée, à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur, vous trouverez LE coin idéal pour vous détendre et goûter à l'atmosphère calme et reposante de cette villa. Tout est top ici: l'agencement de l'espace, le mobilier (excellente literie), l'équipement électroménager. Tout est beau, le contemporain côtoie harmonieusement le style local, la décoration, savamment choisie, est aux couleurs de l'île, de ses artistes, de son folklore. La maison est propre, bien entretenue. Toute remarque ou demande concernant son fonctionnement est immédiatement prise en compte. Mari et son frère Christos, sont des propriétaires à l'écoute, aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes, toujours prêts à donner de nombreuses indications sur leur île. Ils sont accueillants, chaleureux et sympathiques. Quoi rêver de plus pour des vacances réussies!

Found the perfect spot in Andros!

We had a wonderful time in this amazing place where we stayed for 10 days. The location of the property is beautiful and peaceful and very conveniently situated a few minutes drive from Gavrio. The house and all rooms are spacious, bright and airy with exquisite architectural features and a beautiful decoration. The outdoor area with beautiful surrounding trees and garden in various levels is truly exceptional, with the large verandas and balconies with stunning views to the sea, for relaxing and enjoying during the afternoons and evenings. Mari and Filippos are great, very relaxed and genuinely friendly and have been brilliant guests, extremely helpful and accommodating. Overall we’ve had an excellent stay and we hope to visit again soon!

Wonderful expérience in andros

The house is very beautiful and has all the confort you need. The view on the gulf of gavrio as Well as the lovely terrace is one of the thing That we Will not Forget. The owner christos and his sister mari are very pleasant people giving us a lot of advice for beaches to discover and restaurant to try. It was a very pleasant stay in andros.

Super Urlaub!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem bezaubernden Ferienhaus. Das Haus war sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Für unser Baby wurde extra ein Babybett angeschafft (!). Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind geräumig und die Küche auch für eine größere Gruppe ausgelegt. Besonders toll waren die 2 Terrassen und der Balkon, das Haus ist sehr schön bepflanzt und man hat direkten Meerblick. Empfehlenswert ist in jedem Fall ein Fahrzeug zu mieten, da das Ferienhaus zwischen zwei Ortschaften liegt. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder und können das Haus und seine liebenwerten Inhaber nur weiterempfehlen!

Great location for a wonderful vacation

Beautiful villa, perfectly comfortable for two families. Location is strategic, close to nice beaches and villages. House is even better than it looks from the pictures. And it is extremely well kept, with a beautiful garden and 3 terraces. Owners are very nice...we will be back!

3 schöne Wochen auf Andros

Wir haben im August/September 2012 drei schöne Wochen auf Andros verbracht. Das Haus hat eine eigene Zufahrt mit überdachten Parkplätzen und liegt in einem sehr schön angelegten Garten mit Bäumen und blühenden Pflanzen. Von den beiden Balkonen und der großen Terrasse aus hat man einen phantastischen Blick über die Küste und das Meer. Bei zu großer Hitze oder stärkeren Wind bietet eine weitere rückwärtige Terrasse einen angenehmen Aufenthaltsort. Für acht Personen ist das Haus ausreichend groß. Wohnzimmer und offene Küche sind sehr schön gestaltet, die Ausstattung ist sauber, ordentlich und geschmackvoll. Die Vermieter waren jederzeit erreichbar und haben sich bei Fragen sofort freundlich um uns gekümmert. Die Lage des Hauses ist günstig, da die beiden Orte Batsi und Gavrion gut zu erreichen sind. Ein kleiner Strand ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar, dennoch würden wir ein Auto dringend empfehlen.
