A wonderful experience

We had an amazing time at the Bond House. It was just what we expected, and what we wanted. The pictures online are accurate to the real experience of the house. I highly recommend waking up early and watching the sun rise over the water.

Wonderful stay and beautiful view

Prime oceanfront view with modern equipments/furnitures, what else can I ask for? And of course, the linens are clean, towels plentiful and kitchen utensils well stocked!

We had stayed here with our sons a few times, beginning before the nice remodel and a name change. We've also stayed at several other properties over the years. This had the best stock of supplies and amenities. Access to Kapa'a for groceries is great if you like to have snacks around and like to make meals yourself once in a while. There are also decent restaurants available. We had a plumbing issue which was addressed almost instantly. It's nice to know that property management professional and competent.

Wonderful week

The property was exactly as promised. Ocean views from every room, porch and decks with views of the ocean, 12 steps down to the beach with the ability to take long walks. We watched humpback whales breech every morning and evening from the backyard porch. There was ample snorkeling gear and beach chairs and towels for trips to Hanalei and Poipu. There were games and the downstairs had plenty of room for all 8 of us to sit and talk. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay

This is an amazing property! We are a family of 6 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us to do whatever we felt like - chill on the lanai, lay out in the sun or splash around snorkeling in the water - it has it all! Kitchen is beautiful, well stocked with anything you need to cook in. It also is close to many must-see places on the island. Don't pass this up if you have the chance!

Amazing Family Vacation!

Great house and location. We have rented many houses over the years, this was, by far, the most organized. We wanted for nothing! Great location for visiting north and south of the island.

Simply Beautiful!

Family Thanksgiving trip

The property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and three children 10 and under. We explored the Island, fished over the wall, went to a Luau, rode a train, toured a fern grotto, visited the lighthouse, walked through a botanical garden, went to the beach and had a great vacation. Magical Oceanfront Family Stay

I booked the Bond house for a special vacation with my wife, our two little kids, and my retired parents. And all I can say is, WOW. This property is as advertised - right on the ocean and beautiful. We immediately felt at home in this modern and thoughtfully appointed home. It has clearly been remodeled from top to bottom and the little touches were noticeable. The floor to ceiling windows were incredible and we spent a lot of time on the porch relaxing with a glass of wine and watching the waves. The laundry setup was convenient with plenty of pods and oxy clean. The hosts included a substantial amount of beach equipment including snorkeling gear, folding beach chairs, umbrellas, and more. The beds were incredibly comfortable with great sheets and blankets and the bathrooms included a ton of extra towels and washcloths. Definitely reach out to the host to ask about the tides during your desired stay. We were expecting to be able to walk directly to the beach and the tides were never low enough due to the time of year. We were able to drive to other close beaches but would have liked to know during booking that we would not be able to take the 11 steps to the beach as was advertised. Overall a phenomenal stay and would definitely book again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Absolutely beautiful

These accommodations were exactly as posted. My famiku of 7 enjoyed every minute of this home and what the island had to offer. The beds are extremely comfortable!!! Only negative thing I can say is one of the AC units in the smaller room wasnt working and it got a little stuff during the day, but the host quickly addressed the issue the best she could and we were able to get by. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. Hopefully we can come back again some day.

Great Family Retreat Property

We stayed for a long weekend with two adult kids and their spouses. The house was every bit as nice as the pictures show and was very nicely set up for cooking and had a lot of beach entertainment gear. The host was responsive to texts etc. Great House with access to the beach for snorkeling and swimming.

Good Family Fun

Good family home. Right on beach yet halfway between North and South beaches for variety. House is showing salt air problems already ie: outdoor screen doors either hard to move and one fell right off and barbecue badly rusted. Despite all this we had a wonderful family gathering to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

Things to improve

Beautiful home, well appointed features. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 bedroom air conditioners were broken. Although maintenance people came out twice, they didn’t fix or replace them. Be aware of a dangerous night time drive to get to this property. However, once there it was lovely, comfortable, with fabulous views and also the house was very well equipped

Great location, beautiful home but a deep clean is needed.

My family and I stayed at the Bond Beach house for 5 days/nights this past August and truly enjoyed our time there. We were a party of 8 adults and felt comfortable in the house space wise. We had liked that the house was right on the beach and were not disappointed with the view upon arriving. It was stunning, perfect for viewing the sunrise and the location was great for morning beach walks which were a daily habit. However, beach access was limited in the afternoon due to the tides but we did not mind. The lounge furniture provided was all very comfortable and made for great nights on the deck. We were provided with everything you would need in the house for cooking, eating and cleaning including dish and laundry detergent which was great. With all this said there were some shortcomings. The house is in need of a very deep cleaning. I understand that mildew will build up as it is an oceanfront property. However, there was mold in areas of the house including the sliding door curtain in the downstairs bedroom and the light fixtures in the upstairs bathrooms. Secondly, the light fixture in the front upstairs bedroom bathroom was broken and in need of repair. Finally, some of the bathroom towels had stains on them upon our arrival. Also the jacuzzi had been removed which was something we had not been made aware of prior to our stay. While the above did not ruin our stay at the Bond Beach House I do hope that these concerns are addressed as they will truly improve the experience for future renters.

Great location. Right on the water. Close to all the good stores and restaurants on the north shore. House was great. Needed a little brightening (just a little paint, new carpet, newer furniture). Would be five stars with those minor changes. No problems with rental company. Everything was ready for us. Walked in, threw on swim suit and hit the water. Had a great time.

Great house. Great location.

The house was just right for our large group. Loved having the beach right out front. We jumped in the water about 10 minutes after dropping our bags in our rooms! Snorkeling about 2 hours after low tide was the best. Great location to get almost anywhere else on the island. Tege tege shave ice 10 minutes away at the kapaa food trucks was the best on the island.

What a perfect way to celebrate our 50th anniversary

Almost one year in advance of our visit to Kauai we booked this home for our family, including daughter, her husband and two grandsons. It was a perfect fit for our family. We frequented farmers markets and fish markets and all cooked together in this well appointed kitchen. The location was perfect in relation to our frequent visits to Lihue and Hanalei, or golf at Makai or Ocean Course Hokuala, or zip lining for the grandsons, or canoeing on the Hanalei River, to the zodiac ride to view the Napoli coast, and the Kīlauea Lighthouse and the amazing laysan albatross chicks. Each morning I was on the deck to watch the sun rise and then walk the very private, secluded beach while the rest of the family slept,in. All in all the Bond house was a perfect fit for our family memories.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!!

The view of the ocean is just breathtaking!! The house worked out perfect for us, we had 10 people in our party and you have a gorgeous view from every bedroom. We all hated to leave there (it was our little piece of paradise for a week) If we would ever go back to Kauai--I would love to stay at that house again!!

Warning: stay away!

This place is a total sham and not what was advertised at all. This was the most disappointing week stay of our lives. Owner/Property Manager take no pride in their home and obviously only cares about making a profit rather than investing in the experience the renter is paying big money for. We had a stressful time and wished we’d had stayed in 2 rooms at a resort instead. Here’s why (I have many photos if interested): - a wide lens camera to misrepresent the size; LR only seats 4 - filthy couches (not the ones in photo) that they must have found on side of road (they claim they’re new!). Mgmt co offered to drop off sheets to cover them up — this is how they resolve the issue of filth and misadvertising! Dining set also not what was advertised on the website and entertainment center was missing completely. These are the things we based our decision on when we chose this place over another cheaper ($2500 cheaper. Also, the mgmt. fed us lies that renovations were done 3 months ago — this house hasn’t seen upgrades since 80s or 90s. Mgmt co offered only a 1 night refund for these misadvertisements. - Unsanitary for families with kids as its INFESTED: Found and complained about numerous live/dead roaches inside, and owner said that’s “normal”. Mouse droppings in kitchen. Mouse sited. - Kitchen is FILTHY! Spent entire time scrubbing it clean. The best thing about the kitchen was the cookware (after you wash them). - Rusty BBQ they say is new, is about 15yrs old and layers of grease and filth had to be scrubbed off. - Mold filled soap dispensers in the bathroom! All bathroom windows haven’t been cleaned in years. - Hot tub wasn’t working properly the first 3 days. Given it was cold out, we were expecting to use it from day one - Downstairs king bed was literally split in half so you sank in the middle of it so you had to fill it with pillows. The master bedroom bed also uncomfortable. - Several indoor doors didn’t close so if you managed to close them, you couldn’t open them! Broken screen door. Downstairs bedroom door didn’t lock - Lounge chairs at least a decade old, skeletal and uncomfortable so we asked to have them replaced, which they did the evening of the third day. Bet they took them away. - One of the two dryers they boast about having was out of order and the dryer and washer were both functional though at least 2 decades old. - Vacuum is cheap and works poorly The only good thing about this place is the beach in back. Stay away!

Fantastic location and views!

Its our second time to stay at the Bond House. It was a bit windy this year, but great snorkeling, really great views, and very comfortable for 5 adults and 5 kids. The hot tub was a huge hit at the end of a long beach day!

A perfect family home

Our two families had a great stay in Anahola! There were 4 adults and 4 kids and we had plenty of room. The house had everything we needed. We loved sitting outside and walking on the beach in the mornings before heading out for the day. Even better was the feeling of coming back to the Bond house in the evening. We truly relaxed and felt at home. Tree trimmers came and there was a real estate showing but we were asked and put first. The location is the perfect distance from everything! From the far West side to the end of the road on the North, we had great access and never spent too much time in the car. We would definitely stay again. It made our vacation great!!
