Perched on a hilltop overlooking Raven Lake and surrounded by Crown Land, towering pines and the rugged granite cliffs of the Canadian Shield rests The Eagle's Nest - a breathtaking four-season waterfront retreat where rustic charm, modern comfort and the beauty of nature come together to create the perfect setting for reconnecting with loved ones and creating lasting memories
Your journey begins before you arrive. As you navigate the scenic 2km private forest road, the outside world gradually fades away until you arrive somewhere truly special - The Eagle's Nest. A place where mornings begin with coffee on one of three wraparound decks while you watch the sun sweep the mist off the lake and where nights end to the rustling of trees from gentle winds and the symphony of nature.
Designed with family vacations, romantic getaways or weekend escapes in mind, every detail from the warm pine ceilings, panoramic views, fully equipped kitchen and spa-inspired jet shower, offer a perfect balance between wilderness and modern convenience. A place where time passes slower, children forget about their screens and every sunset feels like it was painted just for you.
Spend your days swimming, fishing, canoeing or exploring the surrounding beauty then soak in the six-person hot tub, relax in the sauna, challenge friends and family to a game of billiards and end your evening gathered around the lakeside firepit to share stories, roast marshmallows and watch the stars appear over the treetops while loons call from across the lake
These are the moments that remain with you...
Algonquin Provincial Park and the charming village of Dorset are within easy driving distance and offer easy access to hiking trails, golf courses, restaurants, shopping and year-round outdoor activities.
Every season brings its own magic. Summer offers endless days on the lake, Autumn transforms the surrounding hillsides with strokes of brilliant colour, Winter blankets the forest in a peaceful snow perfect for cozy evenings and Spring awakens the landscape with fresh life and birdsong.
Need to stay connected? Eagle's Nest is equipped with high-speed Starlink internet, Smart TV with AirPlay and a whole-home backup generator to ensure uninterrupted comfort and peace of mind through every season and any weather condition.
Whether you are gathering with family, enjoying a quiet getaway with friends or working remotely surrounded by nature, Eagle's Nest offers an experience that is becoming increasingly rare and hard to find - a lakeside retreat where you can disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself. A place where peace, comfort and adventure meet in perfect harmony
Guests enjoy exclusive access to the entire cottage, including the private lakefront, hot tub, sauna, pool table, wrap-around decks, and outdoor living spaces.
The entire cottage is yours to enjoy throughout your stay.
The private road is a shared roadway for the dozen cottages scattered throughout the bay. The friendly community may introduce themselves and offer to take you on a boat ride to explore the lake
Designed with comfort, relaxation and togetherness in mind, Eagle's Nest offers approximately 2,000 square feet of living space spread across multiple levels, giving everyone room to unwind and enjoy their time together.
The open-concept main floor is ideal for creating memories, whether you're preparing meals in the fully equipped kitchen, sharing stories around the dining table, or relaxing by the fire after a day outdoors.
Outside, three levels of wrap-around decking provide peaceful spaces to enjoy your morning coffee, afternoon sunshine, or an evening glass of wine while overlooking the surrounding forest and Raven Lake.
The walk-out lower level features a spacious recreation room complete with a pool table, comfortable seating, and easy access to the hot tub, sauna, and outdoor living areas.

Terrific location and beautiful accommodation. I'd recommend taking a note of information to access the building and/or wifi before arrival as the phone reception is pretty poor. All amenities were great. Location awesome for exploring Algonquin.
A lovely retreat among the trees. The view was perfect picturesque Muskoka. The home had everything we needed for our stay and beautiful Christmas holiday decor to make it extra special.
Just returned from a Family Day long weekend at this gem! It was everything we hoped - a cozy retreat with scenic views, cabin vibes and premium amenities. Hot tub soaks, sauna steams, pool plays, couch curls, wintery walks, lake skates - there really was something for everyone... which is a tall order when travelling with teenagers and a pup;) We appreciated how well kept the place was and how attentive Chris was to our booking. Our only regret... not experiencing it in the summer! A must.
We had an amazing stay! Our hosts were very welcoming, responsive, and helpful. The cottage and grounds were more than expected. Clean, organized, and had everything we needed.
Our family couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the week. The location is perfect, quiet, peaceful, and has opportunities to create your own adventures.
We look forward to booking again and creating more memories with the family.
The cottage had everything we could possibly need. Lots of room for the grandkids to play. Everyone had a wonderful time. The neighbors on each side of us were very helpful and welcoming. Chris was very helpful and responded with kindess and respect.
Our family really enjoyed the serene location of The Eagle's Nest combined with the luxurious amenities (hot tub, sauna and pool table) and high speed internet. Located more than a mile from a public road, the private lane was well plowed and, even as a winter ice storm raged outside, we were comfortable, relaxed and enjoyed the beauty of it all from our hot tub vantage point. Chris, our host, has thought of every contingency to make sure the house can withstand winter conditions (including a back-up generator). The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals in. The layout of the house and all it has to offer helped us make memories to last a lifetime. Groomed cross country ski trails are less than an hour a way but during our stay we were able to use the private lane as our playground for adventures in the snow. We loved our time together in the north woods. Thank you Chris for sharing your beautiful property with us!
The cottage is beautiful with great views of the water and fall colours. It is fully equipped with all the nice-to-haves while you're vacationing. The place is clean and well maintained. There's plenty to do on the property itself. Unfortunately, the cottage went into blackout due to a power outage within minutes of us arriving. Everything turned off - heating, water, stove, wifi etc. since all appliances were connected via electricity. Chris was responsive and stayed in touch through it. I will flag that the cottage does not sleep 8. We were a group of 8 and there were beds for only 7. One of us had to sleep on the sofa which was not ideal. Additionally, Chris reached out to us during our stay mentioning that there will be an additional charge of $200 because we were 8 people instead of 6. We shared with him screenshots of our booking that clearly showed 6 adults and 2 children booked. After realizing that we were right, Chris said that he wouldn't charge us extra to "compensate for the power outage". All the back and forth threw us off a little since we were there to spend relaxed time. I wish we would instead be compensated by taking $200 off the bill since the place was good to sleep <8 people. Other than that, we had a nice time and will recommend the place to anyone looking to enjoy the Algonquins during the fall.
