10/10 would recommend & stay again!!!!

We could not have been happier with our stay at this home! Property was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. There was so many great benefits to this home from the island, the layout of home & the unbelievable deck with mini fridge, gas fireplace, blackstone, outdoor games and table & chairs!!! This property was super clean! The host was very helpful with things to do in the area and had fast responses. There was also so welcome gifts that made us smile and we was very appreciative. I would recommend this place 10/10 would stay again.

Perfection

This home is amazing, it had every comfort and anything anyone would need. I couldn’t get over how spotless it was. Right across the street is lake access, cute Alden town to right, short drive to sandbar. Loved the fire-pit, black stone, deck, decor esp bathrooms.

Wonderful Getaway

We had an exceptional stay at this property! The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living areas were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal—close to local attractions yet tucked away enough to offer peace and quiet. The host was incredibly accommodating, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect for Boat weekend!

This house was perfect for our adult weekend on Torch lake. The cleanliness of the house was the first thing all of us noticed. Plenty of space in the main area for a group of people to hang out and the back patio was great as well! Daniel was prompt at answering my questions leading up to and during the stay. The big half circle driveway was also a plus and made life easy for the multiple vehicles and our boat we had parked there. The location was perfect for us too, minutes away from the DNR boat launch that we used and an easy drive to surrounding restaurants and stores.

Great House/Deck but right on busy road

This is a great house to stay at if you are looking to drop your boat into the South end of Torch Lake using the Alden Boat Launch. The house was very clean and updated with plenty of space for our family. The back deck is very nice and it was great to have the black stone as an option for cooking. The house is very well stocked and the owners were easy to communicate with and provided lots of helpful information. It was extremely helpful to have a driveway to pull our boat through as well. I did want to mention that this house is right on a busy road, so there is quite a bit of road noise. The rooms do have fans which help drown it out a bit, but cars are flying by quite often. We still had a great time and really enjoyed this home since we spent most of our time on the lake anyways.

Awesome Stay!

Lovely home, great location. This home was well equipped with many amenities to make a family feel right at home. Host definitely went out of the way for the children to have activities, games, and things to do on the property. The host was very kind and accommodating in every way, especially with communication. Modern and Clean

We stayed here for 3 nights. There were 5 adults so we used all of the bedrooms but not the bunk beds or futons. The place was very modern and looked like all new appliances. Great kitchen, bathrooms, and living area with huge tv. We also like the fans in every room and enjoyed the outdoor patio. The only downside is that the master bedroom smelled a little musty and it sits off a busy road but it was a great location to a market, cute places to eat and right across an access point to Torch Lake

Wonderful Torch Lake Trip with Couples

Stayed with 3 couples, very clean and modern indoor space. Beautiful outside decking area with patio table, black stone grill, beverage frig and gas fire pit. Amble parking for boat and jet ski trailers. Within 10 minutes of DNR Torch River boat launch. Kitchen equipped with everything you need for cooking. Host even provided smore kit and complementary local coffee and wine!

Torch Lake vacation

We just spent a week at this property for a family vacation with 4 adults and 3 young children. Property was clean; house was recently renovated and very comfortable. Many outdoor games for the kids to use on the patio. Good location for exploring Traverse City and other Michigan "up north" areas. Owner responded immediately to any questions I had. Torch lake access and great open area park area was a short walk but across the busy road. Kids needed to be monitored carefully due to traffic. We did though, take advantage of the park/beach as well as others in town, including tennis courts close by.

Amazing Vacation

Excellent family getaway! House was as great as advertised. Very clean, had everything we needed. LOVED the back patio perfect for our family of 6 to cook, eat or just relax. Nice fire pit area. Walking distance to the lake, a quick drive to wine country. Excellent communication with the owners prior to our visit. Thank you so much for a memorable family vacation!!!

Beautiful home and wonderful hosts!

The home was beautiful - the back patio being our favorite hangout spot to play games and listen to music. We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift for the bonfire - nice touch! Communication was great and the whole checkin and checkout process was a breeze. Right across the street from Torch Lake, a small skip to the cute little town of Alden, and 10 min from Dockside Watersports. Relaxing place to be!

Memorial weekend

We stayed for the Memorial Day weekend. This home is absolutely beautiful. The outdoor deck was great. We used the black stone, and cooked quite a bit. The landscaping and lighting are beautiful. The inside was extremely clean, and had everything we needed. The property staff was very kind and helpful. There are so many options of things to do in the area that are so close- we had the best time, and will definitely be back!

Perfect Stay

Daniel was overly accommodating, letting us know when we could check in earlier than expected. The house was immaculately clean and spacious for all 5 of our guests. There were many nice add-on touches throughout such as a smores kit for the back patio, a bag of coffee for the morning, nice toiletry products, etc. There was extra pillows and blankets in the closets and games and tvs to enjoy. We were only there for a brief time as we had a birthday party in town that took most of our weekend but we would definitely book again and plan to spend more time enjoying the house and yard. A great place for families or a large group of adults. We had 5 adults and it was more than enough space and privacy for all of us. Will book again! Thanks!

A Must Stay!

A group of girlfriends booked this property for a weekend away in Torch Lake. We could not have been happier with the house. It was incredibly clean, beds comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we could possibly need, walkable to the lake, and an unbeatable outdoor deck area. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to my relentless questions as we planned our trip. If you're ever planning a trip to Torch Lake, this house is a must stay!

Amazing Property!

We had a tremendous stay at this property. It was extremely clean and well appointed. The house itself was very comfortable with smart TV's for entertainment and a nice XBox that our teens enjoyed. It also had an amazing outdoor area which allowed us to enjoy some time outside while cooking or just hanging out. It included a gas firepit, tons of seating, an outdoor fridge that kept our drinks cold and a blackstone! There's also a very nice traditional firepit with ample seating and stocked with firewood. Just really well appointed. The hosts were also very communicative and accommodating. They provided several arrival gifts, which we really enjoyed, and checked in to make sure our stay was going great. The check in process was a breeze, and the location right near Alden and a close drive to both Belaire and Traverse City made it a great experience. It's also right across from Torch lake with access to the water. The hosts really wanted us to have a positive experience, and it showed through the entire time we were there. We loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the Torch Lake area.

Excellent VRBO

We stayed for 5 nights with two “big kids” and three “littles”— had a great time. The property is very unique. -Extremely- clean. Centrally located. Everything you could need for comfort (including a -really- cool Blackstone outdoors which is also located on a very nicely designed patio/outdoor entertainment area. Daniel and his wife were beyond easy to communicate with and were available for anything that came up to be sure our stay was comfortable (including making sure we had what we needed to get through a power outage caused by a storm — without us even asking for help!). Very understanding, very hospitable hosts. We will be back to this property. Added bonus: circle drive for anyone with a boat and two DNR launches minutes from the property — don’t have a boat? Beach is within walking distance.

Hidden Gem!

we were two families of four that enjoyed this property for 5 days. The house is well taken care of and properly set up for family fun. Xbox in the kids room, lots of board games and even lawn games ready for screen free fun. Being right across from the lake was an easy answer for our last minute booking. The road is a bit busy - but worth the 3 to 5 min walk for early morning dips or late evening swims. The back porch was a perfect spot for our adult time while the kids watched movies / played games. The outdoor flat top was clutch for large evening dinners under the stars. Dan was an incredible host - quick with responses and easy to work with. Highly recommend this hidden gem that is a perfect getaway.

Wonderful Accommodations!

This property was very clean, had wonderful furnishings and was well stocked with supplies. The back deck is beautiful and a great place to relax after a day on Torch Lake. The welcome book had great notes and recommendations. We had a great stay! The property is very conveniently located. It is close to multiple boat launches. It is also close to Village Market grocery store, about 1 mile away. We were pleasantly surprised by the offering of food and alcohol at Village Market. If you are looking to swim without a boat, there is a public park just across the street and it wasn't very busy at all. The road can be a bit busy but this wasn't an issue or deterrent by any means. Book this property, you won't be disappointed!
