A little surprised by the reviews for this hotel. The rooms were outdated and the bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was OK … canned peaches and yogurt cups with lots of bread choices and some other fruit. We found the coffee undrinkable. Pool area was very clean and quiet but the loungers were a pleather/vinyl that got very hot in the sun and the small beach towel provided was not enough to cover it comfortably. Seems like many other guests bought or brought better towels to deal with this. Front desk wasn’t very helpful when I was inquiring about the beach and where to rent chairs (it’s the brown surf stand hut not the restaurant as the hotel told us). First time in Algarve so I don’t have anything to gauge this against.

I had a delightful few days here on my solo holiday. The hotel facilities are lovely and clean. The gym is really decent for a hotel gym, the free sauna and steam room are a great touch. Breakfast had lots of options. The pool area was so nice and quiet. I loved the local area too, I enjoyed my morning walk along the coastal boardwalk, and the beach is great for watching the sunset. I'd definitely choose this hotel for a quiet relaxing break if you want to avoid the "brits abroad" rowdy crowd in other Algarve areas. I'll be back!

It is a wondwrful hotel. However, there was construction work going on such as grinding of cement at 8:30 a.m. Bed was too hard for me and shower was slippery. Tge hotel provided a mattress topper and a shower mat. Made all the difference.

Gorgeous hotel perfectly appointed and so clean and beautiful. The manager and staff do a tremendous job of keeping everything perfectly lovely and all guests looked after. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

When we arrived there was nobody at reception to check us in. Eventually someone came out but he didnt know how to do it. The receptionist came out after a while and did it properly. They said there are only coffee making facilitys in the room by request , i requested a coffee machine then after it was delivered learmt that its a euro per coffee. Tnats the first hotel i have ever stayed in that charges coffee making facilities. Tbere was no iron in the room, i asked for one but they only offer a paid for pressing service. However the quickest turnaround in 24 hours for rhe more expensive express service which is no good for the eveing we arrived. The hotel itself is nice in a very quiet area just down the road from Gale beach which is lovely.

Excelent choice for those who want to spend quiet holidays and don´t have any children that are not allowed. Great pool and spa and a few minutes walk to the beach. Very good service and a big variety of choices for lunch and dinner as well as drinks. Not very expensive having a good value for money.

Very close to the beach I found it so strange they didn't give out irons in the room, I landed and needed to go straight to a family event and they wouldn't provide an iron. At least provide an ironing room! Room service breakfast was very poor and I didn't get much of a welcome when I went to the standard breakfast, staff were a bit aloof. Hotel was really nice other than that - plenty of room by the pool.

Hotel was clean and comfortable

This hotel was very nice, however it was not worth the price we paid when comparing to other places we have stayed. One would not expect water stains in the ceilings and mould in the tub when paying over $300 per night. Hotel was clean and quiet -however they seemed to be low on staff-considering a few staff members commented about just how busy they were. The beach is so close and beautiful-which is a major selling point for sure!!Would we stay again? Likely not given the price and amenities offered.

Nice to stay at a hotel with visible management and staff who really care about the guests experience and put their satisfaction at a priority. The staff throughout all went the extra mile to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. This is one of the few places we've been where we will immediately be planning a return visit.
