Villa Maitreya - Five Bedroom Villa, Sleeps 12

Our star property, Maitreya can be difined as 400m2 of perfection, encircled by gorgeous gardens, and marvellous terraces with its prívate pool. This recently refurbished property has been lovingly but scrupulously restored following its original lines, including the original stone walls surrounding the garden and, of course, its magnificent fireplace.

Elements which combine Menorcan and modern styles. This amazing villa for 10 guests includes three main bedrooms, with en-suite bathrooms with hydro-massage showers, another two bedrooms with bathrooms and the grand master bedroom with prívate lounge and en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi. The villa is situated half way up the incline of San Jaime, surrounded by pine trees and with spectacular sea views. It is a feast for the senses. Inside, each detail has been carefully thought out giving it a unique combination of art and relaxation. Its spacious lounge, which features the only original element its majestic marble fireplace, is furnished with luxurious leather sofas and is amply equipped with satellite TV and DVD. Three steps down from the lounge is a modern dining room; decorated in shades of red ,delighting all who enter. Next to this is the beautiful fully equipped designer kitchen.

From the lounge you access the generous covered terrace furnished with a large table and chairs to one side and comfortable cane armchairs with coffee table on the other, an ideal area for reading, chatting or simply relaxing. There is an automatic awning for hot summer days and access to the pool area with its terrace and beautiful surrounding gardens.

On this floor there are three bedrooms all with double beds furnished with built-in wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom. The “Orange” room, bathed in light, is a pleasure for the senses. Its large picture window leads out onto a terrace and the en-suite bathroom is fitted with a hydro-massage shower. The second bedroom is the “Pink” room with its vibrant shades it is also a delight and has a fully fitted bathroom. The third bedroom teases with its clean fresh greens accompanied with white. It also has a complete bathroom.

From the lounge the spectacular stairs sweep up and round to the first floor where the main bedrooms are found. The “Green” room is quietly but tastefully decorated in forest tones and also has access to its private terrace. It has an en-suite bathroom.



The “Turquoise” room is close to perfection with its 25m2 private terrace with spectacular sea views. Its deep tones of turquoise combine perfectly with the cherry wood furniture giving vitality and harmony. An en-suite bathroom of 14m2 with hydro-massage bath and wonderful views from its large windows is decorated with ebony toned slate. And last, but certainly not least, The Master Suite. This is the “Gold” room where 45m2 is divided between a private lounge with comfortable sofa, fridge and TV, together with the bedroom set out in sunny golden shades, a neat private terrace and a large bathroom with jacuzzi from which can be seen the magnificent beach of Son Bou with its clear blue Mediterranean waters. In fact, this perfect suite is bathed in light, thanks to its generous and luminous windows.

The pool has an ornamental water cascade and jacuzzi, ideal for everyone´s enjoyment. Its ample 40m2 distinct design makes it perfect to cool off in after enjoying the sunshine. There are luxurious sun beds with parasols on the surrounding terrace together with a large bbq and outside dining furniture. The villa is surrounded by a large garden with lawn, plants, flowering shrubs and beautiful olives and natural Menorcan trees.

Entrance to the house is from the road going up a dozen steps. Also outside the house there are parking zones.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE AIRPORT TO OUR RECEPTION

-As you leave the airport, follow the signs for Mao-Mahon. You will come to a roundabout with a pyramid sculpture in the middle. Take the second exit at this roundabout, signposted Ciutadella.

-Continue along this road until you come to another roundabout, which you should go straight over.

-You will go down a hill to another roundabout. At this roundabout you should turn left (second exit), joining the main road (Me-1) towards Ciutadella. Please take care at this junction.

-Continue along this road for approximately 7km (ignoring two turn-off signs for Alaior), until you see an exit for Son Bou/San Jaime on the right. Take this exit.

-At the bottom of this slip road you will come to a roundabout. Turn left, going under the main road, and take the 3rd exit towards Son Bou/San Jaime/Torre Soli Nou.

-Continue along this road for a further 6km until you reach the resort. You will pass through a short stone tunnel, before coming to a roundabout. Continue straight on at this roundabout.

-After approximately 1km, take the 4th road on the left into `Calle Bellamirada´.

-On arrival you will need to register and collect your keys at the Menorca Rentals RECEPTION on the ground floor.
