A compact but perfectly fine apartment for two.Quiet in a "green" location but with easy walk to city centre.Aix was a great place!

Endroit très agréable, très calme et totalement sécuritaire. Cuisine et électroménagers modernes. Environ 10 minutes à pied de la Place des Prêcheurs. Je le recommande. (Il y a toutefois beaucoup de moustiques sur la terrasse. Ce fut une surprise. L’hôte nous offre tout ce qu’il faut pour les chasser. Prévoir cependant du chasse moustiques pour le corps.)

Oasis of Calm

We enjoyed our time at the apartment in Aix. It was nice to come back to a cool, quiet outdoor environment. The walk into town is 15 -20 minutes but not difficult. We especially enjoyed eating our breakfast and dinners on the patio. The air conditioning was a plus. Everything was as described in the listing. The apartment is close to the 6 bus line which makes getting into town super easy. We had some difficulty getting a taxi at the railway station but Valerie was kind enough to wait for us, for which we were grateful.We would happily stay here again.

Great locarion

In the edge of Aix old town, and about a 10-15 walk to the centre (depending on how fast you walk), this property allowed us to walk to the centre for sightseeing and enjoying its many restaurants and bars. The property itself is comfortable with most amenities and an outlook onto a garden setting in a very secure gated community.

Perfect location to see the Luberon Valley

We stayed 2 weeks in this wonderful apartment for the two of us! From the well appointed kitchen, the beautiful flowers on the deck, it was the perfect location to walk into Aix or drive to the beautiful villages in Louburon. We visited 14 villages, all within an hour distance by car. The daily flower markets were a great addition to my morning walks!The Supermarket was within two blocks of the house so we never wanted for anything!The outdoor markets 3 days a week in Aix, provided outstanding food, meat and fish options and then we made wonderful dinners. We were binging an Apple TV series so it was great. Advice about dinners, go as late as you can. We definitely experienced a difference in service when we ate with the other tourists at 7:30pm first seating then when we ate at 8:30 or 9 pm.Just a note for those renting a car, our credit card was not taken at the automated gas stations. We needed a station where they had an attendant who we purchased from. Fortunately there were many within a mile of this apartment. Lastly the check-in and leaving was so easy. This owner made everything convenient!

Perfect Homebase in Aix-en-Provence

Our stay in Aix-en-Provence could not have been better. Annick is a wonderful host, from timely communication and suggestions for activities, to a lovely bottle of rose awaiting our arrival. Valerie was very helpful in meeting and acquainting us with the apartment.The property is as the photos show, except better! It feels more spacious and is extremely well equipped with everything you might need. The quality of the furnishings and antiques is exceptional, yet still provides a very comfortable space. Had the weather been warmer we would have made more use of the lovely outdoor patio. Parking was easy in the provided spot. We enjoyed the markets and restaurants in town (a 15-minute walk) and the Chateau La Coste winery is not to be missed. We equally enjoyed our day trips to L’isle sur la Sorgue, the Ornithological Parc de Pont de Gau and the Calanques/Cassis. We would enthusiastically recommend this property for a home base while exploring western Provence!

A little gem just outside historic Aix

This is a lovely little gem of a place just a beautiful 15-minute stroll to the historic center/Cours Mirabeau or Hotel de Ville. Comfortably furnished with secure parking and a lovely terrace to enjoy all the sunshine any time of year!

Delightful apartment

We enjoyed the romantic decor and the well appointed kitchen and bath. Thank you to our hosts Annick and Valerie for a great stay in Aix-en-Provence. The apartment is not in the central area, but is close enough with a 12 minute walk. My partner had a knee/hip problem and we were able to use the excellent taxi service recommended by our hosts.

Great apartment

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aix at Annick’s apartment. Very well equipped, one of the best equipped VRBO rentals we have had. Quiet location, private parking a plus, close to grocery store and good bakery. Easy walk to centre of Aix to take in markets, etc. Nice patio for drinks and dinner. Comfy bed. Had to use A/C the first night as it was a very warm day, worked well. A couple of maintenance issues required which we told owner about (especially anchoring the dishwasher). Ground floor so no stairs. Convenient to get out of Aix to visit areas like the Gorges de Verdon (highly recommended) and the villages of the Luberon. Good communication with Annick and Valerie, the property coordinator. Would we return — definitely.

Lovely retreat

This place is quite charming and comfortable with lots of nice touches. Sitting on the quiet and secluded patio on our arrival with a glass of local wine provided by the host was a perfect start to our stay. While the location is outside the center of town itself, it is a 15 minute walk and the bus line #6 one block away will take you directly down to la Rotonde and the bus station. We especially appreciated being greeted by Valerie on our arrival and given a tour of the many amenities.

Séjour parfait

Appartement très bien situé, proche du centre d'Aix et disposant d'un PK, ce qui est très précieux dans cette ville. Joli décoration et bon équipement. La résidence est très calme. Tout à donc été pour le mieux, je recommande.

Stylish apartment

We loved the apartment and its stylish furnishings. It was well layed out, perfectly supplied with dishes and condiments, and had a spacious bathroom with a wonderful shower. It was also very secure with convenient parking.

Lovely French apartment!

We had a very lovely stay in this apartment. It was decorated beautifully and had a wonderful back porch to sit out on and look over the back garden area. Valerie was so helpful - was very easy to connect with and very accommodating and helpful. The apartment itself is about a 15 minute walk to the center of town in a very quiet area. I would recommend it to anyone!

This gorgeous apartment has all you could need for a comfortable stay in Aix. It is a short walking distance (20 minutes) to the markets, shopping, and restaurants. We were able to take tours to lavender fields and other places in Provence.
