We wanted to visit the Taj. We arrived in Agra in the afternoon. The travel desk of the hotel arranged airport pickup, a tour guide+car to the Taj for the first afternoon, and a follow on early-morning visit back to the Taj (without a guide) for our second day. Arrangements were easy to make, and very efficient given we were in Agra for less than 24 hours. Both Marriott Agra and their travel desk staff (Mr Narendra was the person on call during our visit) made this trip exactly what we were looking for.

Absolutely magical! I stayed here for 2 nights and only wish I could have stayed longer as hotel was amazing! From the entrance to the rooms everything was spotless and meticulously clean which I enjoyed. All of the staff were very helpful with any need that I had and room service was great. I will only stay here if/when I do return to Agra as it was wonderful! Highly recommend!

Worst hotel experience

This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I had made an appointment weeks in advance for a spa treatment for 3 people but when we arrived the appointment was set for 2. They tried to tell me it was my fault until I showed them my text message with the spa. When we checked in we had a non smoking room and we were put in a smoking room but they told us it was non smoking. I had also made a reservation for 5 days (4 nights) I forgot to cancel and the hotel didn’t call me until the night of day 3 to ask me if I was coming. I understand that was my fault but the service was absolutely terrible. The staff that called me was rude and there was no attempt to help my situation. When checking out I was not given my 15% off food or spa services so I had to tell them to apply that. Our 2nd room had a flashing light all night causing one of my guests to have a headache. For all my trouble I was given an additional 5% off spa treatments. That’s it. It was a very angering situation.

Noisy hotel but comfortable

Very nice hotel but unfortunately, it was excessively noisy due to weddings from 9pm to 2am, and therefore difficult to sleep. Not a convenient location, so it was not easy to access anything on foot. Also, although the buffets were extensive the food was extremely greasy and unhealthy.
