If you’re at a loss for where to take your next vacation, perhaps your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) can help point the way.

Developed by mother-daughter team Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers, as inspired by noted psychoanalyst Carl Jung’s theory of psychological types, the four-letter formulas are a shorthand way of describing … well, you.

The 16 different personality types draw from four areas: extroversion (E) or introversion (I); sensing (S) or intuition (N); thinking (T) or feeling (F); and judging (J) or perceiving (P).

Take an informal version of the MBTI test online here. Then, scroll through for a travel suggestion based on your personality type … but don’t be surprised if a vacation idea aligning with another might inspire you, too.

Nickname: The Teacher
You’re an extroverted, people-focused individual who is empathetic and highly in tune to the emotions, needs, and motivations of others. You are great at organizing people and drawing the best out of them.

Travel Suggestion: South Africa
Your empathy for all living creatures would shine in South Africa. Start in Cape Town, then venture to Krugar National Park, where you’ll spot the Big Five, and wear that “teacher” hat while gabbing with fellow safari goers. Finish the journey volunteering at an animal conservation park or local school, to grow your understanding of the country while tapping your ability to motivate others.

Nickname: The Counselor
You’re an idealist who thinks deeply and differently about the world. Often seen as quiet and mystical, you know how to creatively nurture and inspire others through personal challenges.

Travel Suggestion: Bali
Tap your inner mystic with a trip to Bali. Settle into the town of Ubud, a globally renowned center for spiritual retreats focused on yoga, meditation, and energy work. Visit the enchanting Ubud Monkey Forest to draw inspiration from its mischievous, and spiritually significant, inhabitants swinging from the trees (and sometimes perching on the shoulders of visitors).

Nickname: The Champion
You’re a warmly enthusiastic and imaginative free spirit with unique individuality and a disdain toward the routine and cookie-cutter. You’re a doer who craves experience.

Travel Suggestion: Iceland
You’ll appreciate the quirk and creative thoughtfulness of Iceland, especially the capital city of Reykjavik, where art-and-design eye candy and a wildly irreverent music scene are anything but cookie cutter. It’s also home to puffin-watching cruises, tours centered around elves and trolls, and one of the world’s most unique and, ahem, well-endowed museums: The Icelandic Phallological Museum.

Nickname: The Healer
You’re a gentle soul who is reserved yet very curious and capable of helping people fulfill their potential. Your curiosity and propensity for daydreaming make you an imaginative individual who seeks deeper meaning in life.

Travel Suggestion: Riviera Maya
Slip away to an oceanfront sanctuary in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, such as Maya Tulum Resort. Here you can cultivate a deeper connection to yourself (and strengthen your ability to provide guidance to others) with daily yoga classes, healthy meals, and a local shaman who guides open-minded resort guests in onsite Temazcal ceremonies, a way to further explore the deeper meaning in life.

Nickname:The Composer
Quiet and unassuming, you live for the present moment and embrace the wisdom that comes with life experience.

Travel Suggestion: Banff National Park
Draw inspiration for whatever you’re “composing in life” with some time in nature, a la Henry David Thoreau.
