If you’re at a loss for where to take your next vacation, perhaps your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) can help point the way.

Developed by mother-daughter team Katharine Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers, as inspired by noted psychoanalyst Carl Jung’s theory of psychological types, the four-letter formulas are a shorthand way of describing … well, you.

The 16 different personality types draw from four areas: extroversion (E) or introversion (I); sensing (S) or intuition (N); thinking (T) or feeling (F); and judging (J) or perceiving (P).

Take an informal version of the MBTI test online here. Then, scroll through for a travel suggestion based on your personality type … but don’t be surprised if a vacation idea aligning with another might inspire you, too.
