Feast on chicken kebabs, lamb shank and baked fish; or keep it meat-free with options like falafel, cabbage rolls and baba ganoush. With 13 locations in Texas, folks road-tripping to the Big Game can plan their route accordingly.

Star Pizza: You could order a bunch of pizzas to feed your crowd on game day or just head to either of Star Pizza’s two Houston locations for the weekday lunch buffet. The unlimited hand-tossed pizza, salad and iced tea ($4.50 to $10.25) will score a touchdown for your wallet.

Pepper Tree: If hot wings and buffalo chicken dip aren’t your thing, then hit up this popular herbivore eatery. The buffet ($11.99—$16.63) and a la carte menu are both 100% vegan, so dig into the sesame kale, Kung Pao vegan “beef” and dairy-free coconut cake with abandon. On weekends, go for extra points at the expanded buffet that includes veggie sushi and other goodies.

India’s RestaurantWith an extensive menu that includes seafood, lamb, vegetarian options, desserts and more, your best value is the daily lunch buffet ($13.95—$14.95). Sample all the authentic Indian fare you can, and mop it up with freshly baked, pillowy naan.

Américas Latin Kitchen & Cocktails: Sunday brunch gets a Latin twist at this upscale buffet ($35.95). Fill your plate with dishes like paella, chicken and beef empanadas and torrejas—Cuba’s answer to French toast. Then hit up the stations for whole-roasted pig, made-to-order crepes, ribeye and more. Round three is dessert—tres leches, tequila bread pudding and other confections that’ll have you savoring la dulce vida.
