The water of the lakes in the area has a color that you’d normally onlythink possible in the tropics. Just another reason Canada is such an amazing place.

6. Just outside the village of Whistler is the aptly named Green Lake. A popular takeoff point for scenic flights over the village and the nearby Garibaldi National Park.

7. An elk in Jasper National Park looks after his herd during the peak of the mating season in late fall. These massive creatures become very territorial ready to defend against other males trying to steal away his females.
