Every week, the Fork On the Road travel podcast takes you around the world on a quest for food, travel and fun. Join hosts Mark DeCarlo and Yeni Alvarez, aka the Traveling Diva, as they interview notable people who travel for a living—from musicians to chefs, comedians and more. For their latest adventure, created in partnership with Orbitz, the duo explores Cabo San Lucas, where they broadcast live from the infinity pool at Grand Solmar Land’s End Resort. Here are their top 7 picks for things to do in Cabo, in no particular order. Click the podcast for even more info, and scroll to the bottom to enter to win a trip!

1. Go on a rambling ATV ride.

Check out the gorgeous desert terrain outside Cabo on an ATV tour. You can rent one through G Force Adventures, an eco-friendly tour company that runs its own nature preserve—resident white lion included. Click here for a video of Mark and Yeni racing each other through the reserve’s beautiful scenery.

2. Achieve full relaxation at your resort’s incredible pool.

Cabo resorts know how to do pools right. The latest episode of #AFOTR broadcasts live from the infinity pool at Grand Solmar, which offers swim-up dining and poolside massage cabanas.

3. Learn a little Spanish.

You’ll always get more out of a trip if you speak the language—even if it’s just silly, essential resort phrases, which Mark and Yeni review in this video segment taken from the #AFOTR Cabo episode.

4. Feast on Baha Langosta.

You’re on vacation—indulge a little! Baha Langosta is an essential local dish for any seafood fan. Listen to the podcast for Solmar chef Hector Lucas’ original recipe.

5. Have a drink with Van Halen’s Sammy Hagar.

The musician, who’s known as the King of Cabo, runs a popular cantina here called Cabo Wabo. Stop by and if you spot him, buy him a shot. In the podcast, Mark and Yeni interview his tour manager.

6. Take a glass-bottomed boat around El Arco.

It wasn’t that long ago that Cabo was just a sleepy fishing village, and there’s still plenty of unspoiled natural beauty to explore. Hop aboard a glass-bottomed panga boat to check out El Arco, the area’s iconic natural rock formation at the peninsula’s far southern tip, known as Land’s End. With the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Sea of Cortez on the other, you’ll spot pelicans, sea lions and other creatures who call the coast home.

7. Hit the beach.

That’s what Cabo is really about, isn’t it? Medano Beach is always a favorite and offers plenty of watersports rentals, including parasailing, wave runners, kayaks and snorkeling.
