What do Mickey Mouse, the Eiffel Tower and a pair of dice have in common? They’re icons for three of the top ten destinations Americans are most likely to visit this summer, according to Orbitz bookings. More than two thirds of Americans are gearing up for summer vacation and with gas prices down and the Dollar rising against the Euro, American and European destinations like London, Paris, New York, Las Vegas and Orlando are high on the list. Also, flights are down and hotel prices are remaining flat, which means summer 2015 is the summer of savings.

Sin City tops the list thanks in part to guaranteed heat, abundant pool parties and rock bottom hotel prices which average $114 nightly. Thanks to a 16% and 18% drop in hotel rates and airfares respectively, pricey Parisenters the list at #9. Meanwhile, American cities like Chicago and New York and Mexico vacations like Cancun, Riviera Maya and Playa Del Carmen and the Dominican Republic’s Punta Cana also dominate.
