Nice Hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Nice staff.

The location is a short walk to old town and many shops, restaurants.

THIS HOTEL IS A CREDIT TO THE MARRIOT CHAIN OF HOTELS--IN JULY THEY SOMEHOW FOUND OUT IT WAS OUR 40th ANNIVERSARY---SENT UP CHOC-STRAWBERRYS W/CHAMPAIN----WE WENT BACK IN DEC. AND HAD SIMILAR EXP.

It was a nice stay, great lounge, great location but in USA standards, no more than a 3 star

great hotel, walking distance from train station, the old city, and right by the river. It is elegant and comfortable. Internet was not available in the room without a surcharge other than that, our stay was perfect.

Got an excellent prepaid deal, almost 1/2 the price of other 4 star downtown hotels. The room was terrific --modern with every possible amenity. A bit American and not old-world Swiss, but hey this an US-based hotel chain. Location is about 10 minutes walk from the train station and away from the central business area. Wish it were a shade more central.

Just a 10 walk from the Zurich HB Train Station. The Staff are all incredibly helpful, curteous, and very friendly. GREAT sized rooms and ammenities. Old Town is just a few minutes away on foot as well.

This is a really lovely hotel. It is very pricey, however, like everything else in Zurich, and be aware that wireless internet is going to cost you about $45 USD per day on top of everything else. In all my travel, that's the highest price I've ever seen asked for wifi. The staff are helpful, however I was out out over the skywalk, meaning I had to use two elevators to get down to the ground floor for the restaurant/everything else. The restaurant is also very pricey, 9 CHF for a piece of cheesecake and nearly that again for a cup of coffee. Hotel is accessible to the trail road station, just over the bridge and down the street (past two peep shows and a DVD store).

Nice facility, nice rooms, nice service, good location, an american feel in a Swiss surroundings

Hotel is well located, close to old town and central shopping areas. But the hotel is geared for business people who can charge all the expenses to their companies. A breakfast costs US$ 60, phone calls to Germany $ 5/minute.

I had a guaranteed reservation good for late arrival and paid for the room in advance on [...]. When I arrived at 10:00 PM the hotel had no rooms available. The staff ultimately placed me in a nice hotel and Marriott abosorbed the difference in price. Although the Marriott staff was efficient, the placement process did not begin before I arrived. On a business trip with a late guaranteed arrival, the experience resulted in unnecessary stress. For this reason, I gave the Marriott the lowest scores available, below.

We arrived on an early flight after a VERY long flight from Los Angeles to Zurich. We were very exhausted and had put in an early check-in request but when we arrived our room wasn't ready and had to go out in the rain until our room was ready. Our room was located in a separate building that was a bit of a maze to get to. The room itself was fine - standard Marriott quality - but it was extremely hot in the room and we were not able to adjust the heat. We called to get it fixed and a few hours later someone came and claimed to fix it but it never got any cooler and there was no way to open any of the windows. The hotel is located on a busy street right of the highway and is about a 15 minute walk to get to the start of the real city. We were just there for a day so it was fine, but if you are planning on staying for a longer visit there are some other nice hotels located more in the center of things that might be more convenient.

Very close to old town-can easily walk there. Many restaurants to choose from. Easy and pretty walk from train station along river. Had a fabulous room with great view!

An American hotel is nice sometimes when traveling a lot. Close to downtown shopping and business. Wished it would have had an more of an American style restaurant to help being away so long.

We recently stayed for the weekend..Perfect location -the hotel is situated on the banks of the Limmat River in the Zurich city centre, clean, helpful staff..would definitely stay here again.

Everything went well! The hotel is very close to the city center (5 to 10 min walk). It is also close to train station. The only inconvenient is the internet. It is not for free. You have to pay to have access to it.

Location was excellent. The river was literally right across the street with nice trails.
