This was our first stop on our honeymoon after a long day of travel; the front desk staff were exceedingly attentive and friendly. The hotel upgraded us and the room was charming - they provided prosecco and chocolates with fresh fruit, and the concierge helped get us reservations at a nearby restaurant a wedding guest had recommended (despite it being booked out). It’s been a great experience all around. The hotels location is extremely convenient if this is your first time visiting. It was a two minute walk from the main station (you’ll see the sign as soon as you walk out towards the Main Street). It’s very centrally located. The rooms are clean and the valet very helpful.The restaurant was also quite nice.

By far, one of our favorite hotels we’ve ever stayed in! The service was great, the room was comfortable and everything we needed was included and provided. The hotel’s restaurant was also excellent both for breakfast (which was included) and for dinner (which was extra). Highly recommend!

Excellent location near train station and Old Town Center. The red-hatted welcoming team did act rather abruptly with us when we parked out front, but most of them are genuine and kind. This is a busy place but the room amenities are really excellent. A popular spot for Americans.

Quite a nice property across the street from the train station. The staff were wonderful. The room was too high tech - way too many buttons it got frustrating at times. Also the air conditioning wasn’t all that great. But overall a great place. I’d stay there again for sure.

The Schweizerhof is a grand old hotel with lots of elegant extra touches, like fresh fruit in the room and exceptionally attentive staff. Our room showed signs of recent renovation, with modern lights and light switches, and beautifully fresh and clean walls/furniture. The desk had outlets for four different types of plugs (UK, Europe, US, Swiss), very handy for international travelers. The only issue was that the tub drain was very slow, the only sign that this is an old hotel building.
