Attic loft with rooftop terrace!

Our cool and comfortable 1 BDRM attic loft with exposed roof. Is located on the 4th floor with no elevator. The Loft has an access to a private rooftop terrace shared with other loft, overlooking Zurich.

The loft is equipped with all basic necessities :-)
Please note that if you are taller than 1.90M , the ceiling might be to low for you.
Located on the top floor of the building, our Studio is discrete and well protected from outside noises. The building itself is centrally located in a residential area and is served with direct connections to the main station, the lake and others points of interest.
The Studio is spacious enough for you to feel at home and relax after a long day of visiting Zurich and its surroundings.
The studio has its very own rooftop terrace, accessible for only the two top floor studios.
We have a very flexible check-in procedure. Our standard check-in time is after 16.00 on the arrival day. We provide you with the option to check-in using a safebox at the entrance of the building so that you can check-in whenever you arrive on that day.

Check-out time is at 11.00 on the departure day.

We should also mention that there is no elevator in the house. Since the apartment is on the fourth (last) floor, you’ll have to walk up to reach the studio. The stairs aren't steep but we prefer you to be aware of this beforehand :)
Also, once again mention that the ceiling could be a challenge if you are 190cm or taller.

Parking : This is a residential area. There are two types of parking surrounding the house : “White Zone” parking is to be paid for by the hour, “Blue Zone” parking is for free for 1h with the blue distic. Alternatively you can buy a daily parking sign from the local Police that allows you to park everywhere in the city of Zürich for one day, and costs CHF 15 / day. Just search: tagesbewilligung
The apartment is heated and features a kitchenette and space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Other standard amenities include a washing machine and a coffee maker.

Excellent Location in a Beautiful City

My wife and I stayed 2 nights and found the loft very comfortable and private. Filipa allowed us to check in early which was so kind, as we had just arrived after a long flight from Canada and were in need of a rest. You can easily walk to the heart of the old city and there are ample options for public transportation just 5 minutes walk from the front door of the loft. I highly recommend this property.

Small attic location in Zurich

The attic apartment is very small. The bath and shower are oddly arranged but work. It is a quirky place but since we only stayed one night it was good enough. In expensive Zurich you get what you pay for and I did not pay much for this apartment.

Easy!

We loved the quieter neighborhood and felt very safe. Host provided thorough instructions and everything went smoothly. We are on the shorter side, so there was no issue with the loft ceiling height in general, but the shower did feel a little short even for me (5ft 6inch tall). If you simply need a place to sleep, this place is great. If you are wanting a place to hang out and spend a lot of time, it may be a tight fit. Overall it met our needs and I'd consider staying here again.

Super cute attic loft

Our stay at Elisabeth's loft was excellent! My husband (6'2'') was a bit worried about the ceiling height, but it ended up being tall enough to accommodate him just fine. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was located close to many buses/trams, and only a half hour walk from the old town. We would absolutely stay here again if we visited Zurich!

Nice place to stay

The property was great. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk away from the main tram/trolly stops in the area. It was nice having a kitchen, especially on a Sunday when most grocery stores and a good amount of restaurants are closed. While this place was great for me and my friends, I would not recommend it for anyone was is tall. As it is an attic apartment, the ceilings are quite low. The only other downside of this property is that it can get quite hot during the day (at least during summer months). We generally kept the windows open whenever we were in the apartment and there were plenty of fans in the apartment to help cool it off during the day. Just two things to keep in mind/consider before booking. If you are traveling here in any other time of year, I can’t see the temperature of the apartment as being a problem. Besides that, we loved the property and would recommend this as a place to stay while in Zurich.

Lovely Rooftop Attic in the Center of Zürich

The Attic is very cosie, with a spectacular tub. The rooftop is great. There are shoping options and restaurants close. The Wifi was perfect for EU members since mobile fees are very bad when you are EU. The parking is tricky so the online link for (blue parking) was extremly helpfull. Last but not least, the price is very reasonable. We had a great time (besides the weather) which would have been perfect for sauna at the lake, which we need to try next time. We will be back, best regards Andreas

Die Unterkunft war sauber und sehr ruhig. Der Eingang ins Haus und das Treppenhaus sind extrem schmutzig. Das macht einen schlechten Eindruck für die sonst saubere Schweiz. Warum ist Alles auf Englisch erläutert. Zürich ist doch in der Schweiz wo man bekanntlich Deutsch spricht ……..
