The first room I was in, the bed LOOKED plush and comfy, until I sat in it. I immediately sank to the frame, NO JOKE. So I let the front desk know and they moved me to another room, where the bed was exactly the same. The entire place needs an update, not just the TVs. There were soap dish shelves in the shower that severely limited the ability to move around, since the water only came straight down from the shower head. There was no microwave in the room, and the mini fridge held what amounts to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Location was nice, couldn’t hear any traffic noise or other guests. Rooms were clean and the front desk people were nice. I’m sure in it’s hey day it was a nice place to stay, but it’s now just a place to sleep and wake up sore the next day.

Both sinks were missing the drain plug, and of course, something fell in there that had to be fished out. Unacceptable. There is no door to the bathroom vanity, no privacy from rest of room. Both the hand soap and tissues were empty. The mattresses needed replacing, we both slept in sunken spots. Decor was very nice and room was spacious. Parking on the 2nd night was a nightmare due to events. It was freezing and the lighting was inadequate for the trek from the only area that was left to park. Of course, it was near the one entrance that was closed off due to building construction. If you’re a guest, you shouldn’t need a reservation to eat in the restaurant. They reluctantly seated us and it took 20 minutes for any service, another 30 to get a salad and appetizer (both were very good).

The room was dirty, the refrigerator did not work and they did not remedy that. Went to get ice and the ice machine was broken. Advertisement on advertised with a hot tub upon arrival we were told the hot tub had been out of service for years.

If you want to use the pool and hot tub do not book this hotel! We went to give our grandkids a getaway before going back from Christmas break. They wanted to swim and we wanted to use the hot tub. The hot tub has been broken for several years. The pool, though slightly heated, was not warm enough to overcome the freezing room that the pool is in! 15 minutes after being in the pool, they were frozen. We asked the staff if they could increase the temperature in the pool room and they said they would contact maintenance, but we never saw a difference. The restaurant was closed the night we went.

Staff is very friendly, room is unusually spacious with two King beds. The room is clean, except it has a slight odor (which is why I didn't give 5 star to this hotel). The lobby and restaurant are great.
