Our stay at Hotel Sydney was lovely, family run hotel with that vibe, so if you're looking for something on the quieter side of Laganas, it is perfect. 3-5 min walk from the beach, hotels with open to everyone pools and bars and a little shop. Breakfast is simple but nice with bread, ham cheese and jam with tea or coffee and juice with a peice of fruit. Only thing i could say would be that an option of fruit would be good as we got a pear each day, but no biggie. Room is nice, had a fridge and aircon at €5 per day. No wifi but wifi in the main area of the hotel if needed. Only thing i could say about the room would be that it would be useful to have an extra bin. Staff were friendly and polite. Would stay again!! Little mention of the bar next door too while I'm writing a review, Route 66, Jimmy is a friendly guy running his bar on his own with his dog, pop in for a quiet drink with him or some food, he's very obliging to everyone.

you get what you pay for!!

The hotel was basic but did the job. It felt more like stopping with friends rather than in a hotel which suited us but maybe not others. I would have liked drink making facilities in the room and somewhere to sit or sunbathe on the hotel grounds. All in all a pleasent stay.

Das war das schrecklichste Hotel wo ich je war. Wenn man rein kommt richt es Muffig man wird von einem sehr ungepflegten Mann mit gelb durch geschwitztem Shirt empfangen. Zimmer nicht sauber das ganze Hotel einfach alt und runter gekommen. Umgebung sehr laut viele Engländer. Frühstück jeden Tag das gleiche, Kaffeelöffel und Messer verrostet Kaffeekanne innen total verkalkt. Klimaanlage pro Tag 5,-€ extra.

der Strand Laganas war zu Fuß erreichbar (2 Minuten) täglicher Zimmerservice Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe Balkon jeden Tag neue Handtücher und der Boden wurde auch jeden Morgen gewischt - Klima nur gegen Aufpreis (5€ täglich!!!) - die Unterkunft war heruntergekommen, ältere Holzmöbel, alte Holzbetten, die man zusammenschieben musste um ein Doppelbett zu haben - ziemlicher Reinigungsbedarf (fleckige Bettwäsche und Handtücher) - im Zimmer stand ein Kühlschrank der nicht angeschlossen war und den man auch nicht benutzen durfte

Hotel Sydney har super beliggenhed tæt på strand, shopping, spisesteder, barer. Værelset jeg boede på var stort, lyst med nyt badeværelse. Morgenmaden er portionsanrettet, og indeholder kaffe/the, juice, brød, pålæg og frisk frugt. Personalet er utrolig hjælpsomme

Would not stay here again

The hotel was cheap, but that does not justify how dirty and worn it was. The room was cleaned, but not that well. all corners and along the wall and furniture was really dirty with stains and dust. The balcony was full og sand and not cleaned at all. There was a dead bird lying in the parkinglot 20cm from over balcony. The bathroom was dirty as well and the shower head did not have any holder. The hotel is runned by a family of four and they have a family of cats as well. The cats shere very hungry and some times the try to jump up in our laps to take our breakfast. We loved the town and the Island but would not recommend the hotel.
