Greeted by very friendly and smiley receptionists! Rooms spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. AC was functioning great during summer days. 20 mins walk to town if not u can take an Uber. Free parking provided too.

There are only 8 rooms at Lavandula so it feels more like a large B&B than a hotel. We selected a room with a loft bed and found for our three day stay that there was ample room for the two of us. Rooms look like new and efficient in design. The staff (Nina and Mia) were excellent - easy to chat with, accomodating and offered great insight on the area. The location is absolutely fantastic. It is an easy walk to the old town, less than 5 minutes to the beach and both the bus station and grocery store are less than a minute away. The grocery store has a great selection and prices are excellent. Keeping in mind our room had a kitchenette we were able to save alot of money by making easy meals and eating out at dinner when we wanted. We opted in for breakfast our first day offered by Lavandula. The breakfast is a large continental offering. One would have been fine for the two of us. There is a nice sitting area outside where you can get to meet other people staying or just enjoy a glass of wine. We will definitely stay there again if we make it back to Zadar.

Nice front desk, very good room and a short walk to the Old Town. Recommendations were spot on for dinner and evening stroll. And best of all: Free Parking!! A/C worked well, good bathroom. A very nice find.

We booked the comfort studio room which is the second largest room available but I did feel it was really quite small for an apartment, it almost felt a bit more like a hotel. The room was laid out across two levels with the bed being upstairs and the kitchen, bathroom and sofa downstairs. The room was very nice, clean and modern, good shower and reasonable hairdryer by hotel standards. I'll go through pros and cons Cons: -Apartment felt a little compact especially considering it's one of the bigger ones that they have -Facilities were a little limited to a two-hob stoves, no oven or grill, no toaster, just a kettle and microwave. This is not a con if you have no intention of preparing any of your own food but we liked to make our own breakfast -our room was right at reception so could hear other guests when they came in and was also a little concious of doing the dirty if you know what I mean as the bed was literally 20ft from reception. Not a major issue as they're usually gone at night but I'm sure you know how it can be on holiday. Not all the rooms are right at reception but there seemed to be atleast 3. pros: - The service was brilliant you really did feel like they couldn't do enough for you and nothing was a trouble. The reception closes at 5 so there are no staff but the girl told us that if we had any trouble to call her and she would come back and sort it out. She was very helpful when checking in regarding letting us know about the local area without being too pushy with regards to steering us to certain resturants. She asked if we would like a recommendation which we did and the place she recommended really was a great place to eat, usually have to reserve as it's booked up. - The location is great, it's out of the old town but it's a 20 minute walk into the town if you go down the sea front and take a nice stroll, if you are walking quick you can probably get there in just over ten not going down the sea front but it really is a nice was especially when it's warm and sunny - Parking. The apartments have their own dedicated parking. We chose this apartment because we wanted somewhere we could park, out of the places we looked at where parking was available this definetly seemed to be the best place, you are more limited in availability in Zadar if you want to drive but this is a good spot. - With regards to location there is a massive supermarket a couple of hundred metres from the apartments so if you are planning on preparing some of your own food or just want normal supplies then this place will probably do it, theres also a mcdonalds and Spar shop right across from the supermarket if can't be arsed making your own breakfast and don't want to pay 8 quid (9 euros) for the hotel cold breakfast which we can't comment on because we just made our own. - Cleanliness. The room was clean and modern, bathroom was very nice, again modern, good shower. - Don't know about all the rooms but our bed was massive, and comfy - Theres a nice little outdoor communal seating area where you can sit and chill if you get back to the apartment and have some time to kill - The apartment if family run and I do feel this is reflected in the service. You see the same couple of girls a lot and it just feels like an all round more personal experiences unlike a large hotel. - Not noisy at night Overall I would definetly recommend these apartments especially if you are looking for somewhere with a car, the location is really good, lovely service, clean rooms.

So happy we chose this hotel, the staff are so friendly and attentive, even asked if we’d like to take some of our breakfast away with us, as we couldn’t eat it all! The location was great for us with on site parking and a 20 minute walk to the old town. Our bedroom was large and modern with a huge comfy bed and a sofa, I love the Lavender colour scheme, the bathroom was new, with a huge shower, toiletries, bathrobes and slippers provided. I would have preferred tea and coffee making facilities in the room rather than the communal kitchen. Looking forward to our next stay at this lovely little hotel very soon.

We attended the wings for life world run 2019 and booked this lovely hotel via The hotel is conveniently located on the main road leading to Zadars Old Town. Since the main road was closed, we received an update via mail the day before our departure, how to arrive safely to the hotel. Once you have eight navigators on the bus, we of course did not manage to find the hotel (which shall be no problem, once the constructions are finished). Nina went our of her way, meeting us at a nearby supermarket, ,guiding us to this beautiful place. I have to say that we really had a great time!! Nina, Maja and Ana Marija were simply perfect, taking care of all guests, preparing breakfast, answering our questions and helping us with reservations at nice restaurants. The rooms are beautifully decorated, beds are really comfortable and we shall definitely return to this nice hotel, just because of the impeccable service!! Thank you so much for making the difference!! Klaus and the Radkersburger Hof Running Team!

It is located on a very busy road but once we closed our windows you could not hear the noise. The room was very nice, clean and the was bed large and very comfortable. Parking was free which is a bonus. They offer a communal fridge in the kitchen. Breakfast is 8 euros or you can go to McDonalds right up the street if you want something else. The only reason I did not give them a 5 was because of the location. Although it was walkable to the historic area, about a 15 minute walk, it was not a pleasant walk, the area was not great. If we were staying in Zadar again we find something closer to the centre. A shame because it was a lovely place to stay.

This apartment is located well by the main bus station (which was useful for our 8.30am bus journey to the Plitvice lakes) and has two supermarkets available close by (which was handy in stocking up our kitchen with breakfast items and snacks). Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who took us to our apartment Stošija (Anastasia) - be warned there are no lifts so it was be a struggle to climb the stairs with heavy luggage. The apartment was one long room divided into sections - bedroom, sofa/tv, kitchenette/breakfast bar and the wardrobe space. The only other room was the ensuite shower/ toilet opposite the wardrobes. The apartment was airy and clean. We needed the air-conditioning on throughout our stay (including in the night), as the apartment can feel stuffy otherwise. We slept well on all nights, as noises from the road and other residents were kept to a minimum. It took us about half an hour to walk to Zadar Old Town but with the sun shining, we didn't mind. Overall a very well appointed accommodation.

One of the best hotels/rooms I have ever visited. Almost brand new house/rooms, two "floors" and great pricing. Reception was very helpful as we had a late check inn and I was not aware that the reception was closing and they kept it open for us.

We spent three nights at Lavandula - and what a lovely experience it was. Located just across the road from the bus station, it is a very convenient location for anyone travelling to or from Zadar by bus. It was about a 15-20 minute walk into town - but it was an easy (all flat) and a lovely walk if you go via the beach/harbour. The accommodation was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Check in was quick and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay and very reasonably priced!
