This was our first time visiting Yosemite. We traveled as a family and overall we enjoyed our stay with Tenaya. Close Proximity to the park but a 40 min drive in. Tenaya is great to avoid crowds The service excluding the front desk was exceptional. Our check in was delayed - and the welcoming was not the most receptive we would have taken this as a one off if it were not the same experience every time we visited the desk with different team members. Billing: We were supposed to receive an upgrade it did not happen, even though we paid through hotels.com the hotel also recharged us the entire stay plus $220 for incidentals so be prepared for that. Dining: There are very limited dining options - embers closed, timber loft pizza is only open roughly 8 hours on the weekend and not the greatest. The menu is light and they refuse to serve most of it before 5pm. Amenities: We were advised of the ice skating ring but it was closed for the season when we got there, pools were closed but the extremely over crowded indoor pool was open. The game room is very dated with minimal options for the kids. Vending is out of order on most floors. We visited the shop that was advertised as Starbucks it instead offers a few Starbucks approved products - we purchased several ice creams 2 of the 3 were opened and somewhat soggy so straight to trash. Wings - looked pretty unappealing they were to remove from bill but never did - What we did like Chicken Alfredo and Philly Cheesesteak.

Would highly recommend

We had an amazing stay! Service: 10/10 – The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. When we arrived late on our first night, they let us ice skate past the usual time so we could enjoy the experience. Cleanliness: 10/10 – Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Amenities: Perfect for all ages! We traveled with our 7- and 4-year-olds, and there was plenty for everyone to enjoy. We loved the ice skating, game room, and indoor pool, all of which were easily accessible. The resort-provided s’mores were a fantastic touch—we had them every night! The snow play area was nearby, and the entrance to Yosemite was conveniently close. And of course, the views were absolutely breathtaking. The on-site restaurant was good. Our kids enjoyed the buffet, while we ordered from the menu, which still had a solid selection. However, we wouldn’t recommend the nearby pizza restaurant. The pricing wasn’t transparent—we unknowingly paid extra for toppings when a pizza on the menu had everything we asked for and the staff didn’t make mention of this. One small downside was that we weren’t allowed to use the bell cart ourselves; a bellman had to accompany it, which made it feel like tipping was expected. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely visit again!

We stayed in the Cabins and it was amazing, the property had so much to offer! We will definitely be back. Upon arriving, the check in clerk was not friendly just seemed to be going through the motions and didn’t give any info other than how to get to our room, dinning hostess (same both nights, was also not friendly) Dinning staff however was SOO nice and friendly. Staff at clubhouse was friendly and welcoming.
