The hot tub was amazing and such a beautiful view. We did a couples glancing tent and it was perfect such a gem just outside Yosemite National Park.

To my Vegans‼️ Not many options for food at this lodge. No vegan breakfast/ lunch options. Only had a falafel plate that was not good very bland and watery l, and a chickpea curry as a dinner option. They did have vegan frozen microwaveable options in the gift shop. If you’re strict with your diet and looking for decent meals outside of microwavable food such as a tofu scramble, black bean burger, lentil soup- stuff like that you won’t find it there. I didn’t eat much if I ever come back I will make sure to bring my own food. Property was nice, staff was nice it just needed better options for vegans being how the lodge is so secluded it’s not easy to find other options locally.

They have a beautiful area called the sunset lookout that also have a cute trail going down.

It'a VERY charming property in the middle of the woods with welcoming staff and fun amenities, especially for kids. My two cents for improvement - while the general store and the coffee shop were great, the restaurant food could see some improvement (the food was pretty bland), especially considering there are no other options nearby. The cabins could use some tlc - ours was a bit dated but clean.

If you want to stay near Yosemite, there are very few choices. When I was searching for a place to stay, Evergreen Lodge had rave reviews. I'm not sure how. First of all, the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful, so no problem with them. The room however, left much to be desired. I won't say it was dirty, but the couch was stained, the hem on the curtains was ripped and falling apart. The sink in the bathroom was clogged, the hot water handle hardly turned. The shower curtain was stained and one night we had no hot water at all. The food in the restaurant was just ok and vastly overpriced. The road to get there is about 6 miles of a very rough road. Now I get we were out in the woods and it's more like camping than a 4 star lodge.. but that's not a reason for the lack of simple upkeep in the room when the price is almost $300 per night... probably more on season. There are tents on site and maybe actually camping and being less expensive, would be a better experience. In summary, the place is just ok, but don't expect a 4 star lodge as many of the reviews suggest.

We loved our stay at Evergreen Lodge. The atmosphere of cabin feel with the added amenities were a pleasant surprise. The staff is very nice amd accommodating. We we traveled to other national parks and Evergreen was the best of all the places and this location is closest to Yosemite as well.
