We really enjoyed our stay at the paddock. It was warm and comfortable and clean with everything provided for by the owner. Melissa kept us informed throughout our stay. Excellent position for the park&ride into york, and in a safe and quite place to stay. Perhaps a few pictures around the walls would add to the ambience .

Peaceful Base For York & Area

Quiet rural location on farm property which also includes the Swallow Hall Golf Course. The stated Hotels.com location is wrong, The Paddock is located closer to Wheldrake, not Acomb or Poppleton.

Lovely property quiet location very clean. Very welcoming and would stay again the only niggle was due to the remote location the smart TV disconnected with continuous pixelation and loss of picture but overall did not spoil our stay had a lovely break.

Cottage Heaven

The Paddock was a great place to stay. Melissa gave us great instructions on how to find the property. The Paddock was warm on arrival, and the keys were in the door waiting for us. A cake and milk were also provided. The bed was comfy and warm. There are plenty of places to eat around the Paddock , and the park and ride is only 10mins away. The Roost on site can provide a great breakfast that will keep you going through the day. We had a great stay, even though it was a short one. We would gladly stop here again. Thank you to Melissa and all who were involved in our stay. Many thanks.

A perfect stay

I really lovely place situated right on a golf course. It was quiet, very clean, large and had everything needed for my stay. Check in was easy and I would 100% recommended anyway in the area to stay especially if your a golfer!!
