Excellent location, really close to the station and just over the bridge from the city centre. Good breakfast, including the 'trademark' waffle maker. We were in a wheelchair accessible room that was spacious but the bathroom had incomplete grab rails and a slightly strange design that would make it much harder for an independent wheelchair user to use the shower - ask for photos before you book to check it will meet your needs.

We arrived 3 hrs prior to check-in time with a view of just dropping off our luggage while we went to the theatre matinée. But our room was ready has the room early which was good The staff were friendly and the room was very clean and modern. It is close to the centre and train station so ideal. Breakfast had lots of choice and quality food. Definitely would return.

Staff were all lovely and helpful. Room comfortable however there could have been more attention to detail and had cause to contact reception about a couple of issues. Bar menu was very limited and quality mediocre.

Great location , staff were friendly, good breakfast . Comfy beds but unfortunately 2 out of the 3 towels were dirty and underneath the washstand there was still hair and dust which hadn’t been cleaned .

Hotel was lovely. Reception staff very helpful. Managed to check in our room a few hours early which was nice! Room lovely twin however pillows were terrible! Very flat and no support. My friend and I hardly got any sleep! It would have been nice to have a few more varieties of trays and some biscuits would have been welcomed! Maybe next time! However breakfast was amazing. So much choice which is why I’ve given 5 stars!
