Really enjoyed staying here, it was nice to be so close to york city centre as it made it easier to plan the day and fit in more activities. Also, it allowed us to enjoy the nightlife without worrying about getting a taxi or a long walk back. The actual property itself was not so small you're struggling for space, but small enough that it didn't feel like we were occupying more realestate than we needed. The essentials like kitchen and bathroom were a good comfortable size. It was next to the wall walkway, so there was lots of foot traffic looking down into the small courtyard garden. It wasn't too much of a bother, but could occasionally be noisy when the backdoor was open, and did affect the feeling of privacy if wanting to use the little yard. As the front door is on a private entrance away from the street, it didn't feel unsafe though. The decor was inviting. the appliances were simple to use. the task list for leaving the property at the end of our stay was short and reasonable. The WiFi signal was strong. Getting to the property from the train station was easy.

Welcoming cottage

The cottage was clean and presentable with all the facilities we could need. However there was a smell of foist downstairs and the shower was extremely hot which resulted me in scolding myself - an issue which needs to be fixed immediately for peoples safety.

Happy with the location

The location of the property was superb! We’ve managed walk around everywhere rather than driving or public transport which just very convenient. Everything is good inside the property, functional and convenient. I recommend to others.
