Byakkoan is a rental cottage located in Yuda Onsen, a historic hot spring village in Yamaguchi City.
When you open the front door, a dirt floor leads to the living room. This cottage allows you to experience the charm of a traditional Japanese home, featuring a tatami room with a raised floor and an alcove.
In the living area, which features a pellet stove*, you can relax while watching the fire in winter.
The tatami area is perfect for enjoying a relaxing evening drink or as a play area for your children. Netflix is available for free.
It can accommodate up to 6 people, making it perfect for a casual sightseeing trip for couples, families, and friends.
The only facility available is a shower room, but there are many places in the area where you can enjoy day-trip hot springs.

There are five footbath spots within walking distance, so we recommend checking them out!
Throughout the town, you’ll find six types of cute “beckoning foxes,” white “fox mailboxes,” and manhole covers featuring illustrations from the White Fox Legend.
