Great villa, needs few fixes

The property is clean, nice size, good pool, and approx 15 mins walk from the centre of Playa Blanca.However the property needs a little bit of TLC. Pillows supplied are very very thin, on the first night we had to fold towels to make up for the lack of pillows - we had to buy new pillows from a local store. Bedding is short supplied. For our main double bed we were given a mattress cover, 1 single quilt and 1 single sheet. We requested another - next day we were given 1 extra single sheet. Main shower the bracket on the wall is snapped- so the shower head has to be used hand only - i.e. cant attach the shower head to the wall.Freezer needs defrosting, unable to really use the freezer, its just full of ice and the drawers wont open, due to be 'frozen' with ice. Remote controls - between several remote controls (TV, A/C) we had to keep swapping the 4 batteries that actually worked. Local store didnt sell batteries so unable to buy. Would be 5/5, just needs a few improvements.

No directions to find the Villa

Villa was very nice. However, no directions for finding/ locating it upon arrival into Playa Blanca. Called the owner twice to try to get a landmark/ or at least some sort of directions he was very rude and eventually put the phone down on us as we couldn’t understand him. Make sure you get proper directions as all we had was an address. Ended up wasting nearly 3 hours!

Fabulous Villa

Exactly as described. Perfect location, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable.We loved the quiet neighbourhood, but within easy reach of Playa Blanca and the Marina area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for both couples and families.

Maison conforme à l’annonce sauf le m2 un peu optimiste. Un peu loin du port mais conforme à l’annonce. Quartier calme. Pas de savon à disposition à notre arrivée mais toutes les serviettes et les lits étaient bien faits (une serviette de piscine manquait toutefois). Literie de bonne qualité. Rien à redire sur la propreté et communication simple avec l’agence. Location que je recommande au final.

With small attention to details I could have given 4 stars. I think with even some of these taken care of like putting some greetings water, vine, fruits available, we would have started our vacation much better. But these are the facts that we have not faced in any of the earlier several rentals we have had. Missing toilet papers, batteries empty on AC and TV remotes. Missing Sat channels, missing kitchen paper, missing kitchen bin with plastic bag, kitchen ware only for two and means we had to wash them each time we used them. Missing dish washing detergent, broken pool cleaning pole bag, no pool bottom cleaning for the whole of our stay. Water out for 12h without proper warning that there is NO water available. Entrance tiling broken all the way with trashes at the entrance. Luckily I knew the alarm system, otherwise it would have given us problems - no info in any paper. No house book where you could see any local attractions or advice. Cleaning could have been done a bit better. Beds were one of the worst ones we have experienced. On top of these, neighbour dog barked 10h a day, everyday. Recreational vehicle parked outside our fence the whole stay with window to our villa. Construction work close by causing noise everyday.
