Good accommodation, clean and large room. My room overlooked the golf course so it was a very pleasant view sitting at my balcony. The heated pool looks very nice, certainly a great stop if you have a family.

I recently stayed here with my husband and toddler as it was recommended to me. We found it to be relaxing, with friendly staff and well cleaned. The breakfast was great but it’s good to know that in the family spa room you can make your own breakfast with a toaster, kettle, complimentary tea and coffee with biscuits as well as a microwave and fridge. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet that surrounded us there. The pool was nice and clean and the spa bath in the room was great! I did think it was a bit pricey however I could not really fault this place. Our room was downstairs which had sliding doors to allow easy access on to the grass area, to our car and the pool. This also allowed us to sit outside and enjoy fresh air as well as allowing my little one to play. It’s well situated from Greenwell Point which has a big play area, great for kids, right by the water and a cafe. It also makes other areas easy to access e.g beaches, zoo, tree tops adventure, Ferry to Huskisson, places to eat, Coles. All in all we had a good experience and it was definitely a holiday away from home with no stress. Our room had all the essentials and more than I expected. I’d highly recommend it for anyone wanting a chilled and easy holiday with young children.

I was staying here for a business meeting and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the accommodation. Nice large comfortable rooms with a beautiful view of the golf course. Beds were comfortable. A short stroll next door provided meals at the club which was the venue for our meeting. A little criticism is that the room doors don’t automatically lock when they close. Some colleagues were horrified when they realised their rooms were left unlocked by just shutting the door when they left. Turning a key in the lock when leaving is not something most people do these days. The bathroom lighting is also very dim. The lights do not offer enough lighting for the mirror.

We stayed here prior to attending a wedding nearby. You just knew from the minute you walked in to reception that everything was going to be good. Staff were all excellent. You pre-order your breakfast by 8pm the night before as the Sports Club next door don’t do breakfast, I may add the food at the club was excellent. The breakfast arrive on the dot and would put some five star hotels to shame, the food and presentation was very good, served on hot plates and the toast was bagged to keep it warm. The room was larger than most hotel rooms and very well laid out, we had views over the golf course. The bathroom was large and well equipped. It all mad3 &or a great start to a fabulous weekend.

Stayed there one night while driving from Sydney to Melbourne. The room charge was comparable to those in Sydney but the conditions were far below the amount paid. The shower area got stained. The room was noisy especially when the water drained down the pipes. The checkout time was 10am as against the practice in Sydney at 12 noon. We were not aware of that and were overstayed for half an hour. Shame. The only merit was free parking.

We stayed for 2 nights midweek and have nothing but praise for this hotel. Staff are friendly and professional. Room was very nice with ample space, well appointed, excellent bathroom. Pool is beautiful and clean. Hotel grounds are beautiful as well. Yes it is slightly more expensive than other places in Nowra but well worth the extra. Club next door offers very reasonably priced meals. Become a member for $11 and you will get big discounts on meals and drinks. My membership payed for itself 3 times over the 2 nights we were there. Most good beaches in the area are within 20 - 30 minutes drive. Don’t understand the negative reviews to be honest.

My family of 4 including 2 children 10 and 13 stayed here for 2 nights during January and found the Motel to be excellent! Modern, very clean room with 2 comfortable queen beds, large modern tv, clean bathroom with spa bath and a shower with excellent water pressure. Staff were friendly on arrival, parking was plentiful and easy, kids loved the swimming pool, location is 5 minute drive from the main Nowra shops and is a peacful countryside location. The Motel is part of the Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemens Sports Club which offers breakfast lunch and dinner, and a golf course. We would drive to Huskisson or Hyams beaches during our stay which was only 25 minutes drive so perfect location for venturing out during the day. We will definitely stay here again as it was a lot cheaper than staying at the beaches and provided everything you could want.

We had the booking papers, that stated the name "Spring Resorts Shoalhaven Sports Motel" so we drove past it a couple of times. Shoalhaven Nowra Motel, or something similar is the new name. We went there and asked if they know where the hotel we booked was situated. "It's this one. We changed the name" was the answer. Why did they not tell those who had booked? The room was an ordinary one, clean and ok. Nowhere close to have dinner. The swimming pool was good.

Stay here for one night as a last minute deal, day after Boxing days with the wife. In Summary: Good points: Easy parking, easy place enough to find and check in. Clean room with good shower ok bed / pillow. TV / Microwave / wifi. Good view of golf course Not so good points: Mosquitos. Loud noisy neighbours. Feels more like a caravan park. Room Door must be set to lock otherwise strangers can just walk in, no auto-lock (True story). Air-con right above bed so either freeze or boil. No fly screen on ground high glass doors, so can't leave open due to mosquitos. No cutlery except 2 knives / teaspoons, so remember to bring your own Fork / Spoons. Next to Bistro which closed at an early 8.30pm so no late dessert possible. Overall not so flash a spot, more for die hard Golfer then anyone else.

we stayed as part of a bus trip there was 22 people . We were put into our rooms as soon as we arrived and the rooms were so clean and comfortable . Breakfast next morning was at club next door which was 10 out 10 too . Would recommend this motel to stay
