Comfortable accommodation in a great location to explore the Cotswolds

We enjoyed a good week at Kings Cottage with our dog Cilla, comfortable cottage in a good location for exploring the Cotswolds. Very clean on arrival and all the facilities we required for a good stay including the lovely hot tub which was ready to use when we arrived.

Perfect Cottage Getaway — Spotless, Peaceful, and Relaxing!

Our stay at the cottage was absolutely exceptional! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had every amenity we could possibly need. Becky was fantastic at communicating with us throughout our stay — so friendly and responsive, which made everything feel effortless. The property felt very secure and peaceful, and the hot tub was absolutely lush — the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Perfectly located for exploring the Cotswolds

We have just got back from a 3 night stay at Kings Cottage and throughly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was a real bonus, especially after a busy day out and about and the house was spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. A great little cottage and the perfect base to explore Blenheim Palace and lots of other places within half an hour. We would recommend Diddly Squat, Daylesford Organic Farm and a lovely pub called The Swan in Ascott - under - Wychwood.

Nice stay

It was a comfortable stay at King’s Cottage in a good location to explore the Cotswolds. The beds were comfortable. Would have liked to have some throws to feel a bit luxurious in the living room . A few games would be worth having too.

A little gem

Beautiful little cottage, clean and comfortable with great facilities such as an amazing hot tub. We travelled to a range of Cotswold villages and visited Oxford for the day from there. The village its self is very small with only one pub, Killingworth castle but a very picturesque village. The only improvement I would say is more lighting at the hot tub as we found it too dark at night

Fabulous cottage

On arrival we found a beautiful stone cottage in the sunshine. It was easy to access and once in could see that there was everything we would need. It was spotless and the outside area with hot tub was a real bonus as the weather was amazing. The beds were super comfy and there was plenty of room for our little dogs to make themselves at home. All in all a fantastic stay in a lovely Cotswold cottage. Communication was excellent throughout. Thank you.

Little getaway

The cottage is comfortable and clean and has everything you need for. However, the local pub is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and there isn’t another in walking distance, unless you walk a mile on the road. The heating system isn’t great, it takes quite a while to warm up and only gets to a certain temperature. We had blankets on the settee and it wasn’t even that cold outside. The hot tub is a lovely addition and we enjoyed making the most of it. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Wootton is a lovely small village with a village shop for any necessities.

Nice stay in lovely Cotswold village

The village of Wootton is lovely and very beautiful, in a good location for visiting Blenheim Palace, Bourton on Water, Stow on Wold and Oxford. There is a village pub which is apparently very nice but we did not visit, opting for the Duke of Marlborough (5mins up road) which does a great Sunday roast. The cottage is small but adequate for a couple or group of four adults and the beds were comfortable. The lounge area is small and could do with a few more home comforts, especially on colder evenings when you cannot enjoy the outside area. The hot tub was nice and we used this a couple of times as weather was very good during our stay. We had a good few days and would certainly visit the area again.

Perfect Cotswolds Stay

This is our second visit, and it definitely won’t be our last! We love staying here—it’s perfect for the three of us. The cottage is on a quiet road with parking, beautifully designed, and even has a hot tub. What more could you ask for? :-) As you step out the front door and turn right, you’ll find a lovely local church, and a bit further along, there’s a community-run shop and café that we absolutely loved. If you turn left, you can take a stroll to the local pub, and just opposite is a small park that was perfect for our 3-year-old. The location is fantastic. During our stay, we visited Farmers Dog, Fairytale Farm, Afternoon tea in Witney, Cotswold Wildlife Park, and even stopped by Crocodiles of the World on our way home. (over 4 days) For an amazing dinner, we highly recommend The Double Red Duke in Bampton. Thank you so much, Becky, for all your help and hospitality. We can’t wait to see you again next year! :-) xxx
