"We chose this hotel mainly because of the water slide, but unfortunately it has been out of service since yesterday afternoon with no prior notice. The room also had an overwhelmingly strong disinfectant smell that made the stay very uncomfortable. We were told we were being moved to an “upper level,” but the room actually felt more like a semi-basement, and there was almost no cell phone signal. On top of that, the hotel Wi-Fi was completely down from last night through this morning. For a family-oriented hotel, a 10 AM checkout time is also surprisingly inconvenient. Overall, the experience did not match the expectations or the price paid."

Harrah's Resort Southern California - A Caesars Rewards Destination

"We arrived at 2 PM and we checked in. We were told a room would be ready for us shortly. We waited two hours and finally checked back with the front desk at 4 PM which was check-in time we were told there were still no rooms available and no estimation on when one would be available. We then asked to speak to a manager. We requested a total refund and we were told that since we booked through a third-party, they could not issue one. They finally got us into a room, but our afternoon was ruined as we had intended to spend it by the pool before going to a comedy show that evening. Overall, this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. Normally, we’re able to check in early or at least on time at every hotel we stay at. We will not be staying here again."
