This was our second visit to this location. The property owners are great for communication. We love this property for kayaking. It has gentle slope to the lake with sandy beach for launching. The lake is not “all sports” so no speed boats to be wary of. There is a pier to fish from. The outdoor patio overlooks the lake and also a screened porch . The cabin is well equipped and the bed we used was very comfortable. The kitchen had the essential cookware. We stayed five nights and the only reason we had to go out was because I forgot to get bait for fishing. Camp store was just up the road so very convenient. Our weather was perfect for the long Labor Day weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed this place. We saw two deer, four large white swans, six Sandhill cranes and several ducks. This sweet place is just a great example of God’s creation. No negative comments here; we highly recommend this location!

This is our 4th time our family has visited this cabin. We love it so much and have made it a summer tradition. The cabin itself is perfect. Lots of sleeping options and everything you need to feel like home. The outdoor space cannot be beat. Large relaxing back patio, beautiful yard, and the beach! Spent every day in the water and every night around a fire.

Nice cozy cabin with a nice deck and backyard. Cabin has everything you need and the host is so essy to communicate with. The besch area is shared with two other houses basically and would be a lot of fun if you have kids with you. Not really ideal for a couples quiet getaway, but great for couples who like to kayak or canoe as the lake is beautiful.

Lakeside cabin stay

The cabin was incredibly peaceful. My parents and I had such a good time relaxing, enjoying swimming in the water, and cooking outside with a great view. The nights were peaceful and the skylight windows were a cozy touch. The cabin could use more attention to its cleanliness, as we had to wash various plates and the shower was a bit stained and dirty as was the furniture in the living room with cobwebs. Overall though, it was a great location to stay with great views and neighborhood.

Planned a Fall trip to relax at the lake and enjoy the surrounding area. Weather was in the mid 80s during our stay. Had a great time and the days passed by way too quickly.

We loved the cabin! We celebrated our anniversary and birthday here. At one point during celebrating we had a total of 7 people our two labs. It fit us all. Couldn’t ask for better. We will be back.

Wonderful Lake Vacation

Cozy cabin on an amazing no wake lake. Cabin has everything you could possibly need. Stayed very cool inside during our HOT weekend, but we spent most of the time outside anyways because the private beach is amazing!!! Perfectly sandy and the perfect depth for adults, kids, and pets. Deidre and Charlie were amazing and so helpful. Especially when we accidently locked ourselves out! Charlie ran a spare key over asap. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. This place will now be a family tradition to visit yearly.

the yard, beach and water area were great, the indoor area was hot, the air conditioner could not keep up with the sun heat coming in through the sky lights, very lucky we had good weather and did not have to plan indoor activities

Peaceful Lake Home

We loved our visit here. We took our Beagles with us and had a wonderful time on the lake. It was peaceful and the neighbors were all friendly. Loved the little home which had everything we needed for our stay.

Relaxing Family Vacation Spot

This property was ideal for our family vacation with 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. It was very relaxing, we were able to sit on the deck and watch the grandkids enjoy the beach. The propery owners went above and beyond to accommodate our grandkids love of swimming when they where having work done to the beach area. We made it home and we are already planning a return trip in the fall.

Family Trip

The stay was Great. Host was Great. Would be a perfect spot when weather is warmer to enjoy the lake. The only thing that would have been good is a little table or card table to be able to play games inside, could not find a light to play on outside table. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

Great place while RV in the shop

Absoluteky the perfect cabin on a lake. Super comfy and cozy. View of the lake was awesome. I still work full time remotely, so set up laptop and monitor on snack bar, best office veiw. Hosts are wonderful and can call them with any question. Shipshewana is close by, a cute Amish town. We definately will come back. Thank you, is was perfect. We had 2 little dogs, they loved watching squirrels, birds and playing.
