Hotel room w/o support staff

The list said it had a private hot tub, and it was priced that way, but that was deceiving. Hot tub access was in a different location that you had to drive to. This is a hotel room, (called a condo) but there is no staff for check in, to replace towels, check out. Questions are directed to an off-site employee. Room was spacious, clean. Compared to other Vrbo's that we stayed at, it was very impersonal, institutionalized. We left at 8:00 am and received a check-out text that afternoon. I was worried I'd be charged for not responding before the check-out time.
