This newly built stone efficiency cottage is a companion to the larger Althea Cottage at the front. It has the amenities of a nice hotel room plus a well stocked kitchenette but in a private location.

In 2026 a full bedroom with ensuite bath was completed at the rear so that the Murphy bed can be kept closed and the whole original studio used as a living/dining room. This will also allow space to be used by a third or fourth person with the bed lowered just for sleeping. A stairwell separates the two bedrooms with a privacy curtain at its lower entrance.
The cottage is air-conditioned and features a kitchenette and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with 2 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a washing machine, a coffee maker, and an ironing board. Housekeeping is available on request.
