Tolle Lodge mit sehr freundlichem und hilfsbereitem Personal. Abendessen und Frühstück waren hervorragend. Die Fütterung der Giraffen ein echtes Highlight.

Our stay was fine. The pool is the best part. The staff were lovely as well, if not perhaps enough of them. Dinner seemed overpriced for what we got. The night was cold (to be expected), therefore the tent got cold (to be expected), and one of our bed heaters wasn’t working (unfortunate). Lots of neighbourhood dogs barking throughout the night; a bit hard to sleep. It was fine for a night but I wouldn’t stay again.

Eine rundum positive Erfahrung. Schade, dass wir nicht mehr Tage hier eingeplant hatten. Wir kamen mit dem Flieger aus Johannesburg und durften 3 Stunden beim Zoll bei der Einreise stehen. Dann nochmal 1 Stunde beim obligatorischen SIM-Kartenkauf und so kamen wir leider viel später als erwartet an. Umso schöner war es von Celine und den anderen Mitarbeitern der Lodge herzlich empfangen zu werden. Durch Restaurationsarbeiten bekamen wir eines der ganz neuen Zimmer etwas abgelegen von der Lodge. Dafür total ruhig und wer dahin kommt, der kommt eh mit dem Auto. Der Pool war schön sauber und beheizt. Das Abendessen auf der Lodge hat sich gelohnt, Oryxrücken, frische Salate, alles top. Im Zimmer war alles super. Leider hatten wir nicht genug Zeit den Pool auch noch zu nutzen. Am nächsten Morgen dann das Highlighr, Giraffenfütterung. Auch die Antilopen haben sich gezeigt, ein kleiner Springbock und später kamen auch ein paar Warzenschweine Schauen. Die Hunde der Besitzer kamen auch immer wieder nach dem rechten Sehen und haben sich ihre Streicheleinheit abgeholt. Wenn ich wieder nach Namibia komme, dann auf jeden Fall in diese Lodge. Meine Tochter würde die Giraffen lieben. Aber dann auch ein paar Tage mehr. Nochmal Danke für den herzlichen Empfang, alle Tipps. Danke Celine & Team!

Super Ende unserer Reise

Schönes und persönlich geführtes Camp. Nachts wirds kalt aber die Lösung mit den beheizten Betten ist super. Höhepunkt sind natürlich die 4 Giraffen, die morgens vorbeikommen und die man, wenn man großes Glück hat (sie sind etwas scheu) selbst füttern kann. Super Empfehlung für den Anfang oder das Ender einer Namibia Reise.

Superb

Wonderful in every way. Our tented room was very well appointed, with the opportunity to self cater. However, we were delighted to have breakfast and our evening meal in the restaurant as the food was superb. Celine ensured that we were very well looked after and that we had ample opportunity to interact with wildlife. She told us a great deal about the giraffes and oryx. The pool area was very comfortable. We relaxed happily at the Game Camp after our driving tour. We recommend highly.

Nach der Übernahme und Modernisierung ist es eine sehr schöne Lodge mit Frühstück und Abendessen. Das Team ist super freundlich. Sie haben jetzt 4 Giraffen und man kann Joanna zum Frühstück füttern. Der Pool lädt bei den Temperaturen auch zur Abkühlung ein

Best Giraffe Hotel in Namibia

It was last day of our stay at Namibia and it could not have been better than staying at the Windhoek Game Camp. We were greeted by giraffes in the morning and had a chance to feed them. Staffs were so friendly and fun to be around. Mercia was really charming.

Stayed for one night at the end of a short trip to Namibia. A great experience. Lovely cabin, attentive managers and staff, super food and best of all, an unexpected surprise at breakfast! Can’t recommend the place highly enough. Ten out of ten.

This was a delight to stay at. A real live Giraffe that comes to breakfast and the the most amazing hosts. Food was so delicious and the Chef made custom meals that you rarely get anywhere now a days. We didn't want to leave! Thank you so much for the memories.

Negativ: Das Game Camp ist zur Zeit im Wiederaufbau, leider viel Baulärm im Campbereich, der Pool und die Frühstücklobby sind weit weg. Wenige Tiere. Nichts drum herum. Keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Aber das wird bestimmt noch... WIFI nur an der Lobby. Positiv: Die Hausgiraffen sind toll, wir konnten sie füttern. Wir wurden abends durch beide verabschiedet und morgens geweckt. (Die laufen im Camp herum) Das Managerehepaar ist super freundlich und stets hilfsbereit.

Wonderful stay!

My wife and I happened to find this game camp just north of windhoek and are so happy we did. It stood out to us for its beautiful views, local game (giraffe, oryx, and others), comfortable and clean and luxurious permanent "tents", well-equipped kitchen, delicious breakfast, pool, and friendly and helpful staff (especially Sandra). They're in the process of adding more rooms as well as a restaurant, as of October 2023, which will make it even better. We loved it and would absolutely stay again and recommend it to others. 10/10!

The small lodge is situated in the northern parts of Windhoek outskirts and even thought it is very close to Windhoek it feels very rural and wild. It is the perfect place to either start or end a trip around the fantastic country of Namibia since it is very conveniently situated close to the airport and with very easy access to the B1 road. The lodge is very safe and is situated in a private game conservancy. The grounds are huge and excellent for walks. Roaming freely are several kinds of deer such as oryxes and two giraffes and the landscape is gorgeous and very relaxing. I was fortunate to stay in room 4 which was recently renovated and the room was fantastic, so beautiful and with all conveniences one could ask for. The room is a luxury tent and the experience of sleeping in the middle of nature was extraordinary and very relaxing. The room was immaculately clean and very beautiful. The managers Peter and Bridget are very ambitious and have great plans to further improve the lodge which is very promising, even though I find it difficult to further improve this already perfect lodge. Breakfast was served by the pool and was of excellent quality; beautifully presented and very tasty. They cook breakfast to order and I enjoyed one of the best omelettes I have ever had! Many thanks to the lovely hosts Peter and Bridget and their fantastic staff who were incredibly friendly and totally focused on making my stay memorable. Hope to see you all soon!

The hosts and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. They cook the best bacons and eggs. The breakfast is good and tasty. Even got the chance to enjoy the breakfast and swim with giraffes. The room is clean and comfy. It was good that warming mattress is provided for the cold night. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hotel is just 20 minutes drive from Windhoek city centre. It is a perfect getaway for relaxing after the long flights and long transits. Definitely recommend!
