excellent stay, no problems, great location. would recommend to others.

Just stayed one night. Very pleased. Clean and comfortable.

Booked this hotel online when coming to see family. They have us two full beds instead the king we paid for and would switch the next morning never did. Room was clean but the shower floor was slimy and had half used conditioner soap. Staff was nice and snack shop was affordable.

Very friendly staff. Nice to have indoor pool, spa, and restaurant on location. Nearby shopping and dining. Only thing not great about the stay was seeing a dog walking out the front door when this is supposed to be a 100 pet and smoke free hotel. Even the girl at the front desk was surprised.

Our room was large and beds are nicely arranged. My wife uses a CPAP machine and there are plugin sites within easy reach of both beds, a real plus. Most hotels we have visited have electrical plugins located behind the headboard and are difficult to get to! Often these plugins are already being used to support bedside lights and a clock. Appears that an architect who had previously spent a night, or two in a hotel might have been on the hotel design team!!! The view of the mountains was wonderful.

Stayed there to go hiking in Shenandoah and then golf at Blue Ridge Shadows Golf Club. It's a little far from much of the good hiking in Shenandoah (took us an hour to get to the trails we wanted to hike), but was a nicer hotel then the ones that were available near the trails. Luckily, it's right on a golf course which was very nice and allowed us to get a early start without waking up ridiculously early. Made for a very nice weekend and would gladly stay there again. Only thing I did not like was breakfast was not included in the price considering how much the room rate was.

PLEASANT STAY EVERYTHING FINE. WEATHER COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER.

I was in town to visit family but there were too many of us to stay together. I really appreciated the beautiful accommodations, comfortable bed, great shower and nice extras. I was very happy with the value I got for a really nice, upscale hotel experience.

The hotel is nice and clean. We reserved a king room but got 2 queens, so I was not happy with that. With tax the room was 187 which I think is way too much, especially when you don't get the room you reserved. They gave a 20 dollar voucher for breakfast and we couldn't use it since we got to the restaurant near 11am. Another rip off in my opinion. The setting was pretty but isolated. Probably would not stay again if there are other rooms available in nearby areas.

Very satisfied with room - cleanliness and comfort. Linens and towels fresh and clean. Bathroom nicely sized with good counter space. Nice location for us to begin our visit to Shenandoah NP. Front Desk staff was the weak link - not rude but not particularly interested in being overly hospitable. Overall a very pleasant place to stay.

The hotel and staff were very accommodating for our meetings and our needs. Houlihan's was an excellent, also accomodating place for our group.

Very Nice Hotel Can't Complain too much. The Pool Room was very Hot and the water did look a little Cloudy. I left a Gold colored safty pin with the baby Jesus on it on the bed they said they could find it. Other than that our stay was excellent. The Restaurant attached very good food. Pricey. One down fall No Microwave in room and No Continental breakfast. Will probably book again.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff were kind.

I enjoyed my time at the Holiday Inn in Front Royal. Rooms were very clean and you can tell this is attached to a golf course. Quite enjoyable stay. Called the front desk 2x and neither time anyone answered.

very good and modern hotel, our room had a view on the magnificient golfcourse with a very kind and friendky staff gives you the feeling of being at home

All was good. Very good quality/price. Quiet, clean and comfortable.

A new hotel with a good view overlooking adjacent golf course. Rooms and public areas are well appointed and comfortable. We would have liked to see breakfast included. The in-house Houlahan restaurant is exceptional. It served tasty, attractive meals at a reasonable price. Service was consistently excellent. We didn't play golf, but we did enjoy the walks in the historic district of of Front Royal, in the Shenandoah State Park, and in the Shenandoah National Park.

The hotel is lovely with a comfortable lobby and spacious rooms. One can actually pull out the dresser drawers and still walk across the room! The only difficulty was that we were not sure we were at the right place when we drove up - the sign in the foyer lists a Winchester Road address while the website lists the address as Hospitality Road - the GPS does not pick up the latter and there was no Hospitality Road sign anywhere to be seen.

The Holiday Inn at Front Royal is brand new and very clean. When we were checking in, the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Our room was missing the third bed rerquested, so they upgraded us for free to a spacious suite! The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. It's a convenient location for the first Skyline Drive entrance.
