The house was very nice. There were only a few minor details that could have been better. 1.) The pots/pans for cooking are absolutely worn out. There was only one big pot to boil water in and it was so dirty. Had to scour it to use it. We brought our own skillet from home so we were ok there. There are just a few measuring cups and no tablespoon/teaspoon measuring tools. 2.) Hill country property management said there were no BBQ grills on site. Completely false. There was a charcoal BBQ pit at every cabin.3.) Even though this is a pet friendly cabin it does not have a fenced area for pets. Had i know that we probably would not have stayed there. That's on me for not asking up front.4.) The bathroom had not been finished from cleaning. Floor rug was in a pile in the corner and the toilet had some Comet thrown in it but not scrubbed.Overall it was quiet and convenient to town. Unfortunately there was stagnant water in the creek from low flow. Wimberley has grown so much and is too crowded for our liking. This was our last trip there.

I loved the fact that the cottage was pet friendly. I also enjoyed the creek, the patio area and the fireplace. The whole cabin was super cute and peaceful. We will be coming back again!

First thing that needs emphasizing is the setting. Cottage backs onto a beautiful wooded area with creek just to the left of the property (state of dryness meant just a pool of water right behind but that did t take away from the enjoyment at all). Second, the house is a quaint cottage with emphasis on both its quaintness and it being a cottage. We loved it. Decor and furnishings were comfortable… beds, bedding and towels… all high quality and yes…comfortable. Home is elevated above forest floor but there are stairs down so you can access the forest. House is just 1mi from Main Street (equiv… or actual name) Wimberley and only .5 mi from HEB (grocery).

Check-in was easy, bathroom was stocked well, house book needs to be updated (a few of the places listed under things to do where permanently closed and the kitchen could have had a few more supplies, for example there was no Tupperware containers and only one towel. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back.

Creekside Heaven

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing property. It is bright, clean comfortable & close to town. All of the furniture is comfortable, the kitchen is a good size for a vacation and the back porch is amazing. The view from the porch is as peaceful as the creek below! I highly recommend this gem!

Very nice but too cold for winter time stay

The heating system was not adequate enough to keep cottage warm. Do not know if it is adequate for a hot weather stay. Otherwise the cottage was charming and clean.

Great spot for a girls’ trip

We had a wonderful girls’ trip at Creekside Cottage. It was so cute! It is a part of a group of houses. The sleeping porch with 3 twin beds was absolutely charming! There were 4 of us and only one bathroom. But we didn’t even care. Somehow it all worked out perfectly. Love the proximity to Wimberley shopping!

Great Stay

Me and family absolutely loved this place , the views of the creek and access to the creek are like out of fantasy movie super cool. Property was overall very clean and comfortable. Only thing that was a little inconvenient but didn’t ruin the trip was the shower head / water pressure was very poor in the shower .

Girlfriend Getaway!

We had an amazing girls trip and this cabin was absolutely perfect! We had plenty of sleeping options and the pillows were AMAZING! The twin beds were so very comfortable. The views, the creek, the location - it was perfecto! I love that it was right by downtown Wimberley. We had a wonderful day of eating, shopping and being silly. I highly recommend. Tip - it is not secluded and other cabins are nearby but it did not take away from the experience.

Quiet getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect. The entire house felt cozy especially with the beautiful fireplace. The house was well furnished. The view outside was amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Check in and check out was very easy and we never had any issues with the place. We would definitely stay there again.

Cozy and quaint!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was adorable and the outdoor environment was spectacular. We really enjoyed our evenings down by the creek. We liked being in close proximity to many things to do. The only negative for us was that there were only two small, a/c window units that didn’t cool the sleeping porch very well. If it had been summer time , we wouldn’t have been able to stay there. If you’re not used to hot and muggy, it could be miserable.
