We stopped here on our road trip from Ontario to Regina via Michigan, Wisconsin and finally North Dakota. We had not made a prior reservation but Mughi, on front desk, found us the perfect room. It was a suite with a king sized bed, a full kitchen with dishwasher , fridge etc. The cupboards were stocked with everything we would have needed to prepare a meal. The hotel also has a "lending cupboard" where various items may be borrowed. Mughi suggested the air cleaner which could be plugged in our room to help with my environmental allergies. This was probably the best value for money in any hotel we have been to. We could only stay one night but the room would have been ideal for a family and a longer stay. She recommended a restaurant nearby,Lonnies Diner, for dinner and explained about the hotel facilities including the free laundry. Ps Sorry if I spelled your name wrongly Mughi! The restaurant was a great suggestion. Thanks! Dakota Farms where she suggested we have breakfast was great too 😊
Was in town for work and was able to make some last minute changes to stay at this hotel before heading back home. They were accommodating. The rooms were very clean. Small kitchenette. Large bed. Cute set up. Had everything to cook a meal inside the room and dine. The only kicker was I could not regulate the room temp to shut the fan off and keep it cool enough. Fan had to either run all night or be turned off. But other than that I'd highly recommend.
We stayed here on our way home from a motorcycle trip in Montana. The staff were so accommodating and they truly gave us a "10" in service. They had just about everything and anything we needed, though for us, it was mostly sleep.
Stayed here for a week on business and was very happy. We usually stay in the Hampton in Williston but I am overjoyed that we switched to Candlewood. It is clean, well kept and the service is so so friendly. I also enjoyed that the Walmart was so close. I ate at the restaurant next door, candlewood provided a coupon and it wasn't the best. The pantry at the candlewood was great though. It got restocked every night and was kept clean. Will always be staying at the Williston Candlewood when I'm up there.
Stayed here one night on a business trip and found the service exceptional. Staff was friendly and efficient. Quick check in and out. Also gave me extended checkout. Room was very clean and quiet. Bed was very comfy. Free popcorn in the room, free tea bags in the snack area and free coffee all day.
Pretty clean and cozy.friendly staff, room has a small kitchen with fridge, stove and micro wave. Good airconditionder . the area around is not much to do . airport is walking distance . hotel does not have a restaurant but it has a convineience shop.
Candlewood Suites have been my choice in locations from Odessa, Texas to Williston, North Dakota and a lot of towns in between. This particular Candlewood ranks in the top ten percent. I don't hesitate to recommend this location. Economical, clean and the personnel are friendly.
First off, I paid I think $86 for this place. Wasn't expecting much but stunned when we got into the room. It was so clean, it looked like it was just built the day before. Really shocked to find a real, actual full size coffee maker, glasses, plenty of coffee, creamers, ect. They even tucked a pack of popcorn in there. Full fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and a huge room. SPACE! Lots of it, and we are a family of four. Soundproof, if you need a place to actually sleep and enjoy some comfort, this is your hotel. Beds were very comfortable, and like I mentioned...clean. I am the guy that pulls sheets off and checks for bugs and weird spots, but this place clearly...clearly....takes serious pride in cleanliness. My phobias were put to rest. I even checked under the beds for someone else's supper plates, ect. Not a spec of anything.....spotless. I swear this room seemed brand new. I made a mistake and got the wrong night booked in, they weren't expecting me. And I showed up really late. I got worried for a moment but the very smiley friendly desk manager told me not to worry, she had my back and will get us in. For our last night on our vacation, we felt like we were at home here, and had a great visit. I actually left feeling undercharged for what we got, since I just spent twice as much at another hotel down the road and never had anything like this. Well done Candlewood, will be staying with you again. I am having a tough time on a Tripadvisor question, "What kind of hotel, budget, midrange, or Luxury". I am putting Budget but that is ONLY because of the low rate, but it's quality is more in the Luxury category.
I know there are lots of options for extended stay hotels and usually it is the amenities or the price that are the distinguishing factor. However, this hotel's greatest asset is its people. I could not get over how friendly and helpful the whole staff is there. Folks at the front desk treated us like family and remembered our names. Folks doing room service and even maintenance went out of their way to greet us and ask how our stay was going. The facility was always immaculate. The pantry well stocked and had a great variety of meals and snacks.
It is located close to the airport with other 'suite' buildings nearby and usually the parking spaces are filled with trucks backed into the slots. Entering the lobby the staff greets you and is helpful. I found the building clean as was my suite with a full sized fridge and laid out so as to facilitate cooking several steps from the bed and your clothing. Room cleaning/laundry is weekly so use the towels sparingly and clean up after yourself. All in all a decent set up except for the distance you walk if you're not parked before they all fill up, and my main problem the cooling/heating of the room. I was up every night 2+ times to re-set the thermometer on the wall as I froze or woke up sweating. Being there for work this was not acceptable and other hotels are close. Also there is NO breakfast and their 'store' with food is pricey. Oh yeah, should you go: they change the Wifi sign on daily and you have to call for it.
