It is a nice hotel and the staff went out of their way to see to the comfort of my elderly mother in law who was traveling with us, installed a raised toilet seat and offering to install grab bars in the bath if she needed them.
For some reason the day we checked in the Hotel was having issues with the keys and ours and the couple we were travelling with had to have the keys/locks reprogrammed. On the positive side, I got more steps in while going back and forth to the lobby a few times.
Very nice hotel - this is about the only place we stay in when in Williams Lake. We have tried 4 other places to stay, but this is the best so far. Was disappointed this time round because their one and only hot tub was out of service. Also, they could have placed a bar of soap in shower area as there was no body wash in tub area. It is a very good place to stay as Boston Pizza is right in the hotel. Complimentary breakfast is fabulous with great views.
Always a pleasure staying here, includes a complimentary breakfast and that is sure a plus. Rooms are always very clean and comfortable, close to everything and quiet so one gets a good rest. I would highly recommend a stay here.
Stayed at 2 Coast Hotels on our recent trip to BC. Have stayed at Coast hotels in other cities on different trips. Coast is always a good bet while traveling. Coast Fraser Inn was no exception. Check-in was a breeze. Rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and the tub/shower had plenty of water pressure. Our King bed and pillows were like new. A great night's sleep. Hotel has a Boston Pizza connected to it. Pizza and salads were good. Would stay here if we ever pass this way again.
Staff in the hotel are pleasant and helpful. We were happy with our suite - it gave us the space we were looking for to lounge as we would not be outdoors all day in winter temperatures. Certainly not luxurious but very functional. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the Visitor Center, grocery store, pharmacy, shopping centre restaurants, museums etc. Breakfast is what you would expect - nothing fancy but gets your day started.
We chose this as other Coast properties in which we have stayed have been pretty good, however, this property really does need attention. The front desk staff is great...friendly, efficient and accommodating but the hotel itself is in dire need of updates. The room in which we stayed overlooked the roof of the level below and was noisy....the room was small and poorly laid out....there were two chairs to sit in but they were on either side of the bed so enjoying a conversation was awkward. The internet unfortunately was slow...terribly slow and the desk at which to work....well...crowded comes to mind. There is a Boston Pizza Restaurant and Pub on site so one can get something decent to eat or go for a drink. We did check out after one night...we expected somewhat more from this property.
I choose to stay at the Coast Williams lake as the service is good. Rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. Having breakfast available in the morning makes my life easier as I don't have to rush out looking for somewhere to eat. All the personnel I have dealt with have been pleasant and helpful.
Overnight stay on our way to Kelowna from Kitimat. Got in around 10pm the girl at the desk said they were very empty. We parked the truck and trailer at the back and we were told we could plug in the truck as it was -15. Brandi was amazingly helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with her great attitude and awesome customer service. After a long drive we were looking forward to a hot shower and a glass of wine. The water on full hot was luke warm in the shower which was very disappointing. Then I grabbed the towel to dry off and there was 3 long black hairs that fell out of the inside folded towel. So Gross!!! After my cold shower I snuggled in looking forward to a cozy warm king size bed with my glass of wine...and we found more long black hairs near the bottom of the bed!! It was very gross ... but we couldn't help to laugh as we often travel and hotels these days just don't have the quality or cleanliness they claim to have. After an awesome sleep as the bed was very comfortable we woke and were looking forward to the included breakfast. The coffee was the only thing that was good. We ended up going to A&W for breakfast. So we go out to start up the truck as it was -20 and the plug that we used to plug in the Dodge wasn't working. It really was one thing after another with this hotel. We will think twice about staying here again if only we've tried all other Hotels in the puddle. You might want to address the hair loss with your cleaning people.
The room was great, staff great. On a business trip, the internet is very important to me. The internet was terrible and if I am to stay there again, the first question I will ask is, has the internet been upgraded? If not, I will not stay again.
