Staff is very friendly. The roof top has very nice views. The hotel is very new and everything in the room is very modern. I had one of the suites with a large balcony which I would highly recommend. Also it’s close to the floating bridge to walk over to Otrabanda and also close to the Plaza Bieu which is a great no frills food hall for local cuisine.
My stay was superb! The check-in process was smooth and welcoming considering that my flight arrived at night-Yorgelis was a gem! Not only was she warm but she even printed the local bus schedule for me. The management and staff are very communicative and responsive-customer service and hospitality 10/10. My requests were accommodated. The room was modern, clean and chic with all the necessary amenities including a very comfy bed. The rooftop has a lovely view, pool and restaurant/bar. I didn't use the pool because the area was busy but I enjoyed the ambiance. The restaurant downstairs was lovely. The overall aesthetic of the hotel is appealing, and the location is 10/10 (Punda/Pietermaai)- close to restaurants, bars, points of interest, ATMs, cambios, buses etc. It was very convenient and easy getting around. As it is a fairly new hotel, there is a bit of construction but this didn't really affect my stay. I look forward to returning soon. If you value accessibility in the heart of the town over all-inclusivity, this is a great option.
The property is advertised as a new property, however, the basic necessities are not provided to guest. We stayed in a suite with a king bed with a balcony overlooking the water and downtown, which was nice. However, the balcony is underneath the rooftop pool and restaurant so anyone on the rooftop can look down onto your balcony invading your privacy. There were no regular outlets in the room to charge our phones. The outlets required special adapters which had to be requested, but we were only given one. There was no iron, ironing board, nor a phone in the room. Our television wouldn't connect to Netflix, which is provided for free through the hotel, so a new television had to be brought to our room. The hotel and the surrounding buildings are still being renovated, and certain things in the rooms are still incomplete. Now, I must say that whenever an issue arose that the staff took immediate action to resolve the problem, to make our stay doable.
