Where to start? The heat wasn't working ... that would've been a nice piece of information to know beforehand considering the temperature outside plummeted for the weekend. The people working check-in were incredibly rude. The room was dirty and in DIRE need of updating ... there was peeling paint, rust on metal furnishings, a bad seal on the sliding glass door ensuring a deafening whistling noise all weekend (Hurricane Ian was coming through). While trying to haul our luggage to the car from the 3rd floor, the elevator wasn't working. Why? Because the cleaning staff was holding it open on another floor (this happened several times throughout the weekend). On Sunday morning at 7am maintenance began on the room directly above ours ... power tools, yelling etc. In short, this property needs a LOT of TLC from the owners. And for now, I would urge people to stay ANYWHERE else in Wildwood Crest.

The property was a nice, oceanfront property

The efficiency suite was roomy and well-supplied. The staff was courteous and helpful. The place was older and in need of updates. Carpet threads were coming up, lampshades were old and a few were dingy. Hallways were dark and not clean. Discarded tissues, and small pieces of paper were on the hallway floor. I saw housekeeping staff walk past it. Carpets need replaced, brighter lighting and new paint in hallways and rooms would be a plus.

for the money, I think that there are probably better places to stay. Hotel was very dated, activities for the kids were lackluster and no communication. The staff seemed very annoyed by the guest. Also, I noticed that the rate at check in was $50 a night less than what I paid on Orbitz

From the minute we walked into the building until we left, we were treated with respect. The lady who checked us in did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. She encouraged us to come back and even told us about special deals. We will definitely be going back here again. This will be our place to stay when we visit Cape May, New Jersey.

No heat, no coffee in room or lobby. Light had sort. Pool cold.

We are a seasonal hotel and we have heaters for the rooms on cooler nights. Our cafe has limited hours in the spring and operates based on our occupancy levels. Our pool heater broke early in the season and was repaired, it then takes a few days for the heated water to circulate. Everything is up and running full speed ahead now so we hope you will join us again, we would love the opportunity to meet your expectations!
