Great place to stay. Rooms are very spacy, comfortable bed, and close to Wiesbaden army post. Very friendly staff and has great bar with sitting place. Guest may park for free on the street. Reasonable price.
hotel is ok, food is ok, rooms are clean but very hot, no windows open and AC was not working, so very hot night where the temp was over 23°, which is detrimental to the sleep. Staff is friendly, and accomodating, bar waiter is very slow, but friendly.
I would say it worth it for the prices but the elevators are too scary. We were joking about the elevators when we arrived because they look really not ok and than on the next morning the one we used was blocked . Impossible to open the doors . We had to wait until they solved the problem. Otherwise the place is quiet , beds are ok and rooms are big . For 50 euros it’s a good deal but I wouldn’t pay more for it . Look like a hlm . Not a 4 stars hotel at all.
First, the service was perfect and the staff very friendly and courteous. The lounge and area of the restaurant was very nice. The prices for beverages were reasonable. Again the staff of the restaurant was very accommodating. For the rooms, they were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The outside of the building is run down, the balconies are in need of a make over, since you are not allowed to open the windows. This is a big problem since the air in the rooms US very stuffy and it gets very hot. The a/c is just loud but does not do it's job. We, as a group, booked and stayed in 6 rooms and it was the same situation in each room. The elevators were scary at times, but okay. Overall it was okay to stay for one night. The kids had a blast.
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in October 2017. We received a room on the 6th floor. The room is large and clean, the service is good. We ate breakfast, the breakfast was very good and very high. The problem was that the window of the room could not be opened. There was a constant air conditioner. It is not pleasant to live in a room without the possibility of opening the window. Ask for a room with a window open.
Stayed here for a night en route to Belgium as part of a tour. The room was on a high floor with a balcony and the scenery of the township was OK. However, the room was stuffy and dusty but the sliding door leading to the balcony couldnt open due to maintenance work. I felt that they shouldnt have let out the rooms if under maintenance. Bathroom was fair. Breakfast was good. otherwise, just another budget friendly hotel
The room was truly shabby (room 509). It really needs to be updated with modern furniture and please remove the flowery border near the top of the walls. The ac did work but not terribly well. We could not open the sliding glass door to the balcony so we needed air of some sort moving. The bathtub was a high step and the bottom was slippery. We had to be very careful getting out onto the slippery floor tiles. Our toilet seemed to have a jury rigged flusher attached to a metal plate affixed to the tile. Very interesting. The hair dryer was attached to the wall. It worked but did not have too much power. Please bring conditioner if you have long hair and need to get a comb through it after you wash it. Also, no wash clothes, which we Americans love. To get to downtown we walked down the road that paralleled the park. It took about 30 minutes but was a lovely walk. I arrived to the hotel from the hautbahnoff via taxi - it cost €11,50. The hotel is not close to anything so you are kind of stuck. A positive was the breakfast buffet. A large and varied assortment of food.
I've always been impressed with the quality and value of the NH hotels I've stayed at when on business in Europe. I was surprised from the first impressions that this hotel carries the same brand. It seems to be a 1960's vintage hotel that hasn't really had a renovation since. Carpets, furniture, towels, everything seemed worn out. Credit to the housekeeping team that they seemed to keep it all very clean nonetheless. We had dinner in the bar where service was good and soup, salad and burger were all decent. The breakfast buffet was also pretty good. In terms of value, I recently stayed in the very upscale and fantastic NH hotel in Santiago, Spain for half the price of NH Wiesbaden. Needs a refresher to keep up with the NH brand.
This hotel is a nice business hotel which is only 35 minutes from Messe Frankfurt. The rooms are good; beds sleep well and good airco. Menu in the restaurant a bit limited but breakfast is well taken care of.
I stayed at this hotel for one night on my route across Germany. It was a comfortable place to stay. The rooms are nice and the lobby looks impressive. The assistants were helpful and polite. The parking was a bit limited but we found on street parking outside. Also it is a massive plus that it is a dog friendly hotel. I will definitely stay here again on my travels in future.
