We were amazed to be staying at one of the oldest hotels in Germany. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed Wiesbaden. There were abundant stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A special thanks to hotel employee Cem. We asked him to take a picture of our family and he not only did so, but gave us a quick tour of the hotel and an amazing history lesson on the property. He was very knowledgeable and made our stay even better. Highly recommend staying at the Schwartzer Bock hotel.

This used to be a wonderful hotel and the breakfast still is but ……surly front desk staff and an hour wait checking in, no on site parking and told to “go find a garage”, no ac in rooms as it’s is turned off , the tubs are very difficult to get in and out of “dangerous”, and it’s not worth the visit!
