We drove to Rhine Valley and faced with many hotel choices. We stopped at this hotel because of its beautiful flowery courtyard. We settled on this because the rooms are nice and clean, and facing the Rhine river with great view. A great choice, my wife said !
Very late lunch in this beautiful hotel courtyard. Food absolutely excellent. all locally and home produced. Beautiful. Lovely to hear the clocks chiming away on the half hour. Very nice ambiance. ..........................
Amazing property, clean and comfy rooms and an amazing restaurant. Staff is great and will help you with info about the area -which is stunning and well worth your visit. Parking is private and costs 5Eur/day. Would stay again
This well-situated hotel is quiet old world but the rooms and other facilities are modern. You are in the centre of this charming town , close to the river but just away from the busy railway line. Our double room had a double bed as requested and windows on two sides. Smallish bathroom but typically efficient shower. The breakfast was very good and one could take a glass or two of pink sekt gratis. The woman on reception was a mine of useful information.
We stayed here for two nights on a Shearings trip and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms whilst quite small (*our "double" room was two single beds on opposite sides of the room with a table between them) and basic are very clean. The staff are fabulous always smiling and friendly with nothing being too much trouble for them. The food was tasty and well cooked and presented. There was entertainment on in the evenings however the hotel would benefit from some kind of bar / lounge area to enable clientele to enjoy the entertainment. The hotel is right on the Drosselgasse and I was concerned that it might be noisy especially as the Christmas market was on however we were on the first floor and heard no noise whatsoever. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel and would definitely visit it again.
Lovely hotel in centre of Rudesheim. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Very good entertainment whilst we ate our meal which was good. Would not hesitate to stay again. Couple of minutes walk and you are in the centre of the lovely Christmas markets. 2 minutes from the Rhine, nice walk along the river.
Very quaint and well located hotel great staff amazing food but shame there was no Lounge to sit in. Rooms very comfortable and amazingly clean and sparkling, the shower room looked new but it wasn't so highly recommended.
Very well located. Very typical and integrated to the local culture. From one side, the wine barrels reorganized as bedrooms. From the other side, a delicious restaurant/beer garten open to all the city. Room are large and confortable. Breakfast is typical and generous. Perfect to tourists that want to stay in downtown and see everything close to the staying local.
We stopped at the charming well covered Cafe Patio of this Hotel for Wine,Beer and Bratwursts.Excellent! We were entertained by a small German Band and watched many dancing. This quaint town is just past this hotel and around the corner.Quaint shops and atmosphere. There is a Train station at this small town along the Rhine. Worth a stop while you are looking at Castles!
I was there with a couple of friends, just for one night. We booked the place to sleep in the barrels which was adventures. The bathroom and toilet was enormous, very good size. The second night I would rather wanted to spend in the uppers rooms. The place is nice and clean, nice, cosy restaurant in the hotel and very tasty and rich breakfast.
