Went here for lunch with my family. There were minimal selections. I ordered beef brisket quesadillas and they weren’t that great. The view is amazing. Property itself seemed dated even though we just went for lunch.
This is a great resort to visit, in a great location. We stayed with a group of friends and all had a great time. The location is great for sight seeing in the White Mountain. The Presidential range offers some great driving roads and the resort is a great place to come home to. Great pool and hot tube after a day on the road. The restaurant was great and we danced the night away in the lounge.
We look forward to our yearly trip to Indian Head and we are always satisfied. Can't wait to go back. Never disappointed. Awesome outdoor pool, MAP (meal plan) is a great value also Lori in the gift shop and all the staff always had a smile. Thank you Indian Head.
We had a great time. In the summer we used the paddle boats with the kids. The pond was stocked and you could have the chef freeze or prepare your catch. There was so much for the kids to do. Ice cream socials , game room ,fishing ,and the pool. Adult time too , shows and good drinks , hot tub pool. The cottages and rooms are really nice. It’s a great country vacation or family wedding destination. I would recommend the resort.
Went up for an overnight so my daughter could use the pool...room was OK, pretty basic. Stains on the rug that could have been cleaner. Beds were very comfortable. Did not eat in the restaurant this time - just brought pizza in. The morning after our overnight took my daughter to the pool and clumps of hair floating in the water. Not enough chairs for people to sit in around the pool at all. The people at the front desk were amazingly nice.
We had not been here in years but we have come several times in the fall and loved it. I was a little nervous after reading the recent reviews. The rooms are generous in size and clean with basic decor and what I expected for the price. We had a microwave and mini fridge. We were on the lakeside of the resort during the very cold holiday week. The front desk was helpful. The restaurant is basic with a good menu and good food. Nothing spectacular. However the paper separating the cheese slices was cooked with my daughters hamburger. We laughed but that was bad! No compensation was offered besides an apology! The service was slow at diner time but better for breakfast and lunch. They have both an indoor and an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. They offer activities for younger kids at night. (A clown show and Magician) and live music for adults. They also have a shuttle to cannon and loon and offer discounted lift tickets. All in all we had a nice stay.
Great location and views. Rooms are large with lots of space, clean and comfortable mattresses, nice large flat screen TVs however decor very dated. Pool area great but dated needs update along with workout room. Good food in restaurant but slow service. All staff friendly and helpful. Love having ski shuttle to Loon and Cannon.
Please talk with the dining room hostess so rude she made bad remarks to other help there about my family very uncomfortable did keep my cool though so not to disrupt the others enjoying their time so they could enjoy their stay
We've been to IHR 6-7 times, usually in mid Sept and are usually satisfied. The rooms are very good and normally very clean. There are rooms that face the lake or the Indian Head profile on Mt Pemigewasset. The grounds are well kept and there's a beautiful lake with free Paddle Boats to use. The heated indoor & outdoor pools & jaccuzis are clean and they supply clean towels in the area. The location is close to the town of Lincoln and many hiking trails around the White Mountain Forest.
The staff here is awesome!!! We left an iPad in the room and they mailed it to us priority. We are grateful that they were so honest and helpful. Definitely recommend this place. Plus, the grounds were decorated with Christmas lights and it was just beautiful. Thank you, Indian Head Resort!!!
